Took the car in after the steering wheel started making a knocking sound. They had a quick look, tightened up the bolts to the steering rack which had come loose and then promptly refused to take any money off me!! Great to have this proper old school garage locally. Thanks guys.

Couldn’t be better. I was recommended Helical Gearboxes by my own mechanic for my Fiat 500. My gearbox had given up the ghost and I was booked in within a week. Paul had a recon gearbox in, exhaust changed, a little welding and an engine mount all done before three o’clock! A really good honest job at a very very competitive price. I was kept up to date with phone calls whenever there was a change to the job and the price for the gearbox was the best I could find anywhere in the south east. Overall, friendly, open, honest and quick, no messing about, I will be back.

Absolutely amazing service! I had a gearbox problem with my Ford Fiesta and Paul came to the rescue! Endlessly impressed by Paul and the team at Foxberry Garage - they always so helpful and most importantly honest, upfront and reasonable when it comes to pricing. Last month when we needed our air conditioning unit fixed, they explained they didn’t offer that service but recommended a garage close by who fixed it for 1/3rd of the price that another local garage quoted us. And today, I took the car to get the rear view mirror reattached which they did right there and then and even refused payment for! Feel very lucky to have them so close by!
Paul and the team were a delight. My S2000 was subject to someone stealing the catalytic convertor, and their angle grinder nipped the gearbox housing. Insurance company wanted to right the car off, but Paul and his team rescued the car by welding the housing. Can’t thank them enough, brilliant job, trusted by lots of local mechanics for their level of work. Bravo.
