I can’t recommend Iky at Rapid React enough. He diagnosed and fixed a long-standing hot water issue that four other engineers couldn’t resolve, then installed a Megaflo unvented cylinder quickly and to a very high standard. He turned up the same day I called—even cancelling non-urgent jobs—because the property needed hot water urgently. Despite feeling tired and facing heavy traffic, he was professional, respectful, and focused throughout. What really sets him apart is his honesty and customer care. • He reduced the call-out fee from £130 to £90 even though I asked him to stay longer and perform extra tests. • My toilet started playing up; he opened it up and fixed the issue on the spot, free of charge • He sourced the cylinder himself when the one I planned to order would take too long. • He quoted £950 for labour but only charged £900, even after needing extra materials, which he added at no extra cost. Communication was excellent: fast replies, clear explanations, and helpful photos/videos throughout. He carried out proper mains flow and pressure tests—something other contractors didn’t even mention—and explained everything in a way that built real confidence. What really stood out was that after the first visit, he paused and asked, “Are you happy?” Not many contractors ask that — and almost none say it with such genuine openness. Had a leak under the sink late in the evening and wasn’t sure who to call. They picked up straight away and had someone over within the hour. The plumber was friendly, explained the problem, and had it fixed without making a mess. Felt like a genuine and dependable service.

Iky has been quick to spot and resolve the issue with my boiler (Pulsacoil class A) and having spare parts in his van he was able to fix the issue on the spot. I also particularly appreciated the follow-up on the day after to make sure the boiler was running as expected without any fault,
Iky completely replaced my Pulsacoil 2000 boiler with the newer Advance Appliances ETS160. He is very knowledgeable and honest and takes pride in his work. His prices are reasonable too. I will definitely be using him again and recommend him to anyone else as the best plumber I've ever worked with.
