5th Dec. I was trying to collect my parcel in the store and when I walked in this boots the staffs are having arguments, so I was waiting patiently and then they came to me and ask for my name. I was waiting to show my parcel number, so I tried to check my user name immediately on my phone. Suddenly the staff yelled at me, she said, Look at me! I was really shocked and I am scared, I wonder why she speak in a rude tone with me because I did nothing wrong, I behave well and I have a slight smile on my face. Is that because I am a little Asian girl? So I look easy to bully, they don't need to pay anything so they can yell at me and ordered me to 'Look at them' with no respect. I almost cry and I feel panic, but I can do nothing because I am just a foreigner living alone in this area and they yell at me to let me look at them, I thought maybe it's just some strange social rules in UK, but after I ask my local friend, they say no, they are just being rude and trying to bully me. Say I'm checking my information on my phone, even if I'm really too shy to look at this lady, what did I do wrong? I hope the manager in this store could take care of their staff and check if everything's all right, make sure they are not under pressure or have any severe issues with their body or brain. Try to be as a civilized human being please, don't yell at a customer.

I was appalled by the service I received yesterday from the woman with short hair and glasses. She was unprofessional, rude and patronising when the shop was empty. She immediately made assumptions about the nature of my condition without letting me speak and lectured me like I was a child over the perfectly reasonable yes/no question I asked about how to take the drug safely given my circumstances and she didn't even answer it in the end. It's really unkind and unnecessary to be spoken to by somebody older than you in that way especially when you are just asking for guidance. I never write reviews but I was urged to by my partner who is a medical student who overheard it and thought it was really unacceptable. While waiting for the prescription we had to listen to the pharmacists openly making fun of other customers they had just served.

Good range and quality of products and services. Helpful staff. But dreadfully understaffed with very long wait times.

Absolutely disgusting service. I walked in and told them politely that I was referred from the NHS 111 number to get a further assessment on my strep throat, sounds pretty fair right?? Apparently not, the lady with short brown hair and glasses huffed and puffed and walked away to let one of her colleagues know about the situation where she was also very rude and treated me like I was dumb which I found really disrespectful and unprofessional. Returned back after leaving because I had to check if I was allergic to antibiotics to have the same short haired woman make an obnoxious statement of “am I going to die from antibiotics!!?? Better call mum” or something rude like that. Anyways, got taken back into the same room by the same woman to only disregard what I was telling her while I continued to be polite as I’m a shy person. Overall this was disgusting and I never write any bad reviews but I literally feel like I was bullied in there.

I just witnessed a lady who I assume is the manager (shortish hair and glasses) being very rude to one of the staff. The products are fine but to me that is not acceptable. I don’t really ask much of a pharmacy, just a decent range of products and basic respect towards customers and staff.

This has been my local branch for 21 years now. Given how busy it is, and how rude and impatient some customers can be, I think the staff do a great job. Sure there have been some oddballs over the years, usually locum staff or those who don’t stick around. The working conditions really aren’t great - I don’t believe it’s had a refit in the time I’ve been using it. It feels cramped for staff and customers at times which I’m sure leads to friction. It’s an invaluable part of the local high street in Bishopston and I am very grateful for it and those who keep it running.
