   boots at the mall, cribbs causeway. a really terrifying place on boxing day. as this boots can be used as an entrance to the mall, it’s extremely busy and not much spare room to move. people messing about in the revolving doors, so it kept pausing and took us an age to actually get in. was looking for some cerave moisturiser, what i actually needed wasn’t in stock, so we left empty handed. the same can’t be said for some other shoppers, who were clearly shoplifting and bragging when the alarms were going off. not sure why this shop has no security?

   Store its self was your average boots store but the staff at the purfume counter were not interested in the slightest. A promotion was on, if a 100lm bottle was purchased I could choose 2 of the mini bottles free per purchase (I purchased 3) I was first told they had none of the mini bottles left and they are subject to availability. I still went ahead and purchased £280+ worth of purfume as they were gifts I needed them and I asked for them to be gift wrapped like advertised and said id be happy to wait and with some extra samples instead of mini bottles. I later discovered none of the 3 purfumes were giftwraped at all just chucked in a bag with a tun of white tissue paper on top. Nothing like the pretty WRAPPED AND BOWED giftwrap I was expecting and had waited for AND not a single sample inside either. I returned to the shop to then be told by a different member of staff that they do have everything I asked for including mini bottles but only one person has the keys to everything needed so she thought that may be why I didn't get them or the gift-wrapping. She then went to find her manager (Chris with long hair) who then told me they dont give out samples anymore. As you can imagine by this point I didn't know what to believe and decided id rather just leave than be lied to. The whole experience was disappointing and feel iv been ripped off and fobbed off.

   Nice big store. Good selection of products. Have an eye care and hearingcare section. Excellent service at the hearingcare and follow-up care. Good selection of perfumes and cosmetics. Pharmacist on duty for prescriptions and good selection of medicines and health products. Good baby section.

   This store has had a huge revamp. It's more open and less cluttered making it much easier for disabled access. The staff are friendly and helpful too this store is very large and has a great selection of goods

   Did not enjoy my visit to Boots Pharmacy Cribbs Causeway today 11/01/23. Your optician was dismissive of my chronic condition and told me I was wrong. Looked into my eyes which showed I was correct. I have never had someone so sure of themselves yet be so wrong before in my life. I will never use boots opticians again. In the past they are great people working there. Now it is aggressive and unpleasant. Your lady optician made me feel like dirt today. Like a liar for no reason at all. Perhaps listen to people instead of calling them a liar when you do not know them.

   Can I give it less than 1 star? Honestly so disorganised, always out of stock of everything you want. I waited for over an hour for a prescription when they told me 20 minutes. Then I realised it was mostly because they were so disorganised and because one of the pharmacists was spending so much time with an 86 year old who couldn't sleep and just wanted some pills to help but the pharmacist was telling her to try switching off the TV an hour before bed and other useless tips. Like, the lady is 86, how bad would it be to have her take a sleeping pill for a few years. Ridiculously poor service.

   Asked for help, told they can't help as they're busy & to ask someone else (Jo?) Asked another colleague and they gave me a generic point across the store. Asked a new girl who was very helpful, her first day she explained she didn't know as she's 1 hour in & not been allowed a tour of the store. Yet still went & showed me & actually helped me find the right product. Then heard her being told off for helping me. Poor message from management.

   Really disappointed that Boots at the Mall have gone the self serve till only route. There are too many tills very close together. With all the beeps and spoken instructions, it's difficult to tell if it's for your till or another. Only one assistant covering the self scan and rushed off her feet with problems, age checks and security tag removal. Although I think there is a place for a few self scan tills, please bring back the manned tills, as the human touch is still needed.
