Lovely selection of books & clothes

  2. Trudie dudfield ★★★★☆

Good and staff friendly. But used to have really good furniture, apparently not allowed since covid. A great shame.

after the death of my Aunt I called into the shop to ask about what they take in the way of donations. The lady behind the counter was very kind and helpful and offered her condolences. They asked about gift aid and made the sad process a little easier. She also advised me of places to take items that they were unable to accept.

Not a bad charity shop lots of little stuff but worth a look

  2. Mr Mind ya own! ★★☆☆☆

Paid £6.99 for a DVD Boxset in there and 4 of the 13 discs were missing. I wouldn’t mind but you tape them up to stop people stealing them but you clearly don’t check them before putting them out on display. I don’t take a receipt as it doesn’t sit well with me to return items to charity shops (Yes I know many do it as a habit!) but am majorly angry to have paid out a lot for something with a quarter of the discs missing! It was supposed to be a gift and can’t now give it to them so I’m £7 out of pocket. Won’t be supporting again as this is basic stuff
