Used 111 for an emergency prescription request and was referred to Boots Nailsea Pharmacy, who turned me away due to the inability to access NHS records due to a 'faulty card' to access the system. Poor excuse, given the circumstances and the staff were uninterested. Not good enough.

Queues are always massive and takes ages to get served. They always seem like they are short staffed. The store needs refitting, its really old and dated. Most of the shelves are empty, i expect this is due to not having enough staff

What a rude assistant at Boots Nailsea this evening. My husband was told by Boots at the BRI to collect his prescription after 5pm this evening. When I got there the doors were locked. I knocked and eventually a woman came to speak to me through the glass. What an ignorant woman, all she kept saying was “I couldn’t give you the prescription anyway as there isn’t a pharmacist here” she repeated this about six times, she had a grin on her face when I told her my husband had queued at the BRI for ages, only to be told they didn’t have the medication in stock! A bit of civility wouldn’t go amiss, but that is probably too much to ask for in this day and age!! Get your act together Boots!

Absolutely shocking. Been battling for a year with Boots. Have epipens and life threatening allergies that need epipens, antihistamines and steriods. None are ‘difficult’ medications. Only open until 5 pm etc Monday to Friday so only able to pick up on Saturday. They lie - so I order repeats on 2 nd October and GP sends them immediately. Go over on 7 th Oct and they say ‘none of the prescriptions are being sent at the moment from the GP and weren’t yesterday either ’ - didn’t sound true as I could see they should be available in the patient access app and that they were ordered and should be there. This happens every single time repeats are ordered. Often wait 20 minutes or more in the queue as well. Come back later try at 5 pm ???!! They said. What the heck some of us work full-time. Absolutely ridiculous. Went to the pharmacy in Tesco in Clevedon on the advice of nhs 111- as it will be another week before I can make the boots in Nailsea. Pharmacist in Tesco says prescription is available and was available to Boots on the 4 th October so they absolutely do have access to the prescription - so my question does someone need to die before Boots takes this seriously and staff the store properly and make it fit for purpose. 3 people in Boots this morning why are they saying ‘order has not been delivered today’ and ‘wasn’t yesterday.’ It shouldn’t be so difficult.

Clearly not enough staff. Poor elderly lady in front of me having to queue for 30 minutes for her prescription. Not good enough. I changed my nominated pharmacy while stood in the queue and won't be returning.

What can I say, we have known and relieved on Boots and this branch is one of the best,

Absolute abysmal service. Complete lack of staff, closed at lunchtime, miserable staff attitude. Had to wait nearly 20 minutes for a prescription to be prepared which was requested prior to Christmas. Back to Day Lewis pharmacy in future....

The Boots store offers a comprehensive selection of health and beauty products. It also dispenses prescriptions. A useful shop.

Only 3 stars as the weigh machine wasn't working but staff are lovely and very helpful
