Grove Cottage is in a fantastic location about a minute from Whiteladies Rd. There's no parking at the B&B, but there's an arrangement with a local business to use their car park at weekends. Grove Cottage is pristine. Very clean, stylish and cosy. The room is a nice size with beautiful bedding, but being a double bed, it was a little small for us. The bathroom is modern and again, clean but the sink is awkward to use due to the tap position. The surrounding area is very quiet at night, so no disturbances. Breakfast was high quality but limited choice and we dined in the kitchen which made it awkward to chat as our host was sat with us too. She's very friendly but I like to spend time with my partner. I think if you're older (60+) this is a fantastic, homely place to stay which I'd highly recommend. Unfortunately for us, it felt like stopping over at your Grandma's.

Feeling quite stressed as my husband was having heart surgery at the Spire needed to stay quite close to the hospital. I called The Grove and spoke to a lovely lady Diana . I explained my situation and she said most definitely I can accommodate you. I booked two nights and felt that the cost was very reasonable considering where we were. On arrival Diana was very welcoming and made us feel welcome straight away. The Grove is beautiful, our room was lovely with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. She had left us little extras, fruit biscuits and water. Tea and coffee facilities were also available. We went out to eat without much luck so we bought sandwiches etc and returned to the B&B . We ended up sitting at the kitchen table to eat our supper and bless her Diana provided us with a glass of wine. We had a good old chat as well. Diana is a wonderful host in her beautiful B&B . She sat and chatted with me for a couple of hours whilst my husband was in surgery and made a difficult time a lot more bearable. Would highly recommend The Grove. As for dear Diana I feel like we have made a new friend and would definitely stay again.

Grove Cottage B&B is a little gem. Diana is a gracious and caring host. The room is comfy with a cute modern bathroom. And the breakfasts are delicious. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at Grove Cottage for two nights while attending the Spire . Diana's home is immaculate and the perfect location, being only a third of a mile away from the hospital. My room was lovely with an incredibly comfortable bed. I was feeling unwell and Diana was so very caring, going to great lengths to look after me. She not only gave me a light meal after my hospital visit, as I'd not been able to have breakfast that morning, but also booked a taxi and came in it to collect me , making sure I was alright. Thank you so much, Diana. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Grove Cottage and I will be back next time I need B and B in Bristol.

We were made very welcome by Diana who looked after us whilst we were visiting friends in Bristol. The room was clean and comfortable and very close to town. She made us an egg breakfast both mornings with fresh berries and yogurt and recommended places to visit nearby. Would love to stay again next time we're in town!
