Really friendly and welcoming staff. Well organised and well thought out safety procedures. A beautiful lake to swim in. You do have to book ahead and fill out health form, on first visit they get you to swim to a buoy and back just to check that you are confident in the water and then you can swim one of two loops around the lake, a shorter or a longer. There is a coffee van and somewhere to rent tow floats and wetsuits.

Tried out Shepperton Open Water Swimming and it was actually so good. The water was clean and warm, which was great for this time of year. It is not river fed by the Thames, which I was glad to find out. There are two loops, with the bigger one being 750 metres, and it's well marked out. The check-in process was really easy and smooth. Instructors were clear and there were people in canoes on the course keeping an eye out, which was reassuring. Lots of exit points if you need to get out early, and there are showers to rinse off after. There is also a place to lock up bikes which was handy since we cycled there. I did not see any lockers for bags, but it felt safe enough leaving them next to our bikes. Would definitely go again.

Dean and Georgie were very welcoming and lovely people, the lake has a nice chilled vibe, is scenic and hidden away in the most fantastic setting. I look forward to swimming there again in future.

I attend Shepperton Open Water Swim and thoroughly enjoy the experience every time. Tom from Triton is kind, helpful, and someone you can trust β he really makes you feel welcome. Swimming in the lake (yes, even in the cold!) is both exhilarating and refreshing. The staff are accommodating and create a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. After the swim, thereβs a hot tub and sauna to warm up, and on Friday nights, we even enjoy stone-baked pizza made from scratch. You can bring a bottle of wine to share around the campfire, making it a fabulous way to end the week β and an equally fantastic way to start Sunday mornings. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun, social, and revitalising outdoor experience!

Lovely swimming experience and the reception desk are great and really friendly but donβt rent a tow float from the outlet shop! They didnβt tell me before renting how much it cost despite me asking and when I went to return it was charged Β£5 for less than an hours use. When I suggested this was costly the response from staff left a bad taste and was quite rude. Open water swimming is great because itβs accessible and affordable - really felt like this went against the ethos of the sport.

Really well run open water swim. Safety standards are very high and tow floats obligatory unless you wear a wet suit. Friendly, efficient staff, lovely location and very sociable swimmers. So glad to have discovered it.

Amazing place to swim! Staff are very informative and friendly. The morning post swim brekkie is the best, bacon rolls on brioche buns with a coffee over looking the lake. Evening swim is also devine!

Great place to go open water swimming. We usually go on a Saturday morning. There is a great atmosphere, lots of parking and all the staff make you feel very welcome. When you first go you must complete a swimming test, just to make sure you are competent to go round the whole lake. There are two loops a big one and a small one. If you aren't swimming or going with a swimmer you can also walk / run all the way round the lake which is just over a kilometer. Facilities there also include a Zoggs store where you will find all your swimming needs and a coffee stand. A great place to visit if you are near the Shepperton area.

Beautiful lake and wonderful people, water is clean and fresh. There is a little beach for entry and a small food and drink stall. Toilets and small changing room are available indoors and there is an out door shower to rinse off.
