Why do you call yourself affordable when a 30 minute swimming lesson (running ONCE a week) is costing £87 just to sign up… absolute joke of an organisation. I wouldnt even care if you werent calling yourself AFFORDABLE in every description
My visit was absolutely appalling and disgusting. The staff were extremely rude and unprofessional, but the health and hygiene issues were even worse: the entire facility had a terrible odor, Furthermore, the changing room environment was highly uncomfortable due to a man, aged around 45 to 60, walking around completely naked. This place is unsanitary and badly managed. Avoid it.
So my local branch decided to use the app to open the gate, not barcode any more. The trouble is, I have my own membership, and my daughter has her own. I was told that every time different persons visited, I need to sign out and sign in using my that person’s account. I was told by some old lady at this branch that this is so easy! Not a problem whatsoever! Sure, not a problem just more inconvenience! This is ridiculous! Your app needs no support multiple accounts if you want people use the app.
One afternoon, I came in to enrol my 11 year old son for swimming lessons, and I was helped by Korina. She was absolutely wonderful—so kind, friendly, and patient. She took the time to show me around the pool and the family changing area, and made sure everything was clear and sorted for me. (She kindly gave me her email address in case I had more questions later.) My son's been taking group lessons every week. We're happy to be part of the centre.
New facility built in 2018. Have only used the swimming facilities. Prebooking for 50 minute slots which is quite short with kids. Can't get in unless a member of staff is at the front desk. Shoes have to be left outside the changing room so at least the floor stays clean. No private showers to have a proper shower after your swim, only the 3 that are poolside before you leave the female changing room so you can't wash yourself or hair without people in view. Toilets inside were clean though. No free parking anymore, only 3 hours free for disabled users. All other cars have to park in the car park, £1.40 on Ring go for 2 hours.
Nice pool, clean and bright. Ample space in the changing room. Has a small cafe for parents waiting for kids. Affordable price but like many said, need to also factor in the cost of parking unless cycling to there?
Clean, well equipped and nice views of the park. Also plenty of times when it’s not too busy. Friendly atmosphere and a generally respectful bunch that clear weights up after themselves. Pool facilities are also very good! I’ve been to the gym 3 times this year which is a personal record! Happy days!
I renewed my membership recently and mistakenly selected the wrong one. I addressed my issue to one of the staff members at this gym, her name is Tinuke, she was very friendly and welcoming. She really went out her way to serve me and she was able to resolve my problem. I am grateful for her help. The gym and swimming facilities are excellent and I like the location of the gym. I would definitely recommend people to use this gym.
Excellent centre with great facilities. Everything is very modern and well-maintained. Classes and swimming sessions still need to be pre-booked, but this stops things from getting too busy. The gym can be accessed at any time and is relatively quiet outside of peak times. Staff are friendly and helpful - queries around my membership were quickly resolved. The café is a nice addition to the centre and offers much appreciated respite after tough classes.
Goods- very clean and tidy. Gym and swimming ---BADs - why to charge members for PARKING ( fee is not enough??) Limited activities.
