Clean modern establishment with gym and two swimming pools (adult and junior). Cafe with fairly limited food offer but again clean and with good coffee.

Having a serious neurological condition effects the nervous system, and all the body and the brain, I was pleased to see that the Everyone Active Godalming leisure Centre provides a 'quiet swim' hour on a Tuesday morning, especially for those who would benefit from people who may be elderly or frail, or have dementia, or other disabilities such as mine. My experience of the young member of staff at the desk when I explained my disability to him, was that he had absolutely no experience or understanding of any kind of disability and just looked uncomfortable. I told him that I had difficulties with cognition and he just told me to use the app for any, obviously not understanding that using me out is something I find difficult. If everyone Active Godalming Are going to offer a quiet class as advertised on their app, It should not be just a token provision to look like they are providing something special, when the reality is they are not. When I went to the pool it was divided into lanes although it clearly states on the website that the lane dividers are removed for the quiet class, said that swimmers are not restricted to swimming in lanes. I spoke to 2 women who were swimming there and of both said they didn't have any particular reason for using this session. What is the point of advertising this special time if none of it is what is described online. One of the women I spoke to said that this hour is never like how it is described on the website, and that anyone can use the pool at this time. Why advertise this if it is only a token gesture? And if it is more than that, why are desk staff not trained in disability, and understanding and empathy. I won't be going back

Iβve been a member of this gym for a while now and overall, Iβm very satisfied. The new equipment is great- modern, well maintained and easy to use. The staff are always friendly and helpful, which makes for a welcoming environment. That said, there are a few areas for improvement. With only five treadmills available, it can be difficult to secure one during peak times, particularly in the evenings. The spinning class, while a great offering, is quite disruptive for other gym users as the loud music and motivational announcements from the coach spills into the rest of the gym. I believe this should be moved into a separate room and the space be better utilised with additional treadmills or bikes, which would benefit the majority of gym members. Regarding peak times, 7pm can feel a bit chaotic. The weight machines and free weights are often overcrowded, making it hard to complete a balanced session. However at 6am, itβs much quieter and thereβs no problem accessing the equipment. Iβd love to see earlier weekend opening hours (6.30am or 7am). For those of us who work Saturdays, a slightly earlier start would make a big difference in being able to fit in a workout before the day begins. All in all, itβs a great gym for the price and with a few tweaks, it could be even better.

In the heat of yesterday afternoon, my husband and I thought it a good idea to go for a swim in our local swimming pool. After taking ages to supply them at the desk with all the personal information they canβt possibly need, they refused to let us in; because we hadnβt brought our bank cards, only cash! The story has a happy ending as we went for a lovely swim in the river amongst dragonflies and swifts, and lush vegetation. Is it legal to refuse cash? What do children do? Have they all got bank cards?

I'm a member, the monthly fee is not cheap, and I still can never use the pool because it is always used by swimming teachers for other purposes even though I use the app to schedule an appointment. For more than months, not only me but other people have been complaining about this, but the problem is never resolved.

I have a swimming membership and I book through their website because their app won't let me log in. This means I check in every time I go swimming and it is the third time they don't check me in, so when I go online to book my next session, it won't let me do it because I have a "no-show penalty". It is quite frustrating to have to go to reception to correct their mistake. I have no problems spelling my name if they don't know how to write it (even though they misspelt it during my registration). Please, fix your app so I don't have to deal with this situation. Thanks.

Clean and friendly facility, new equipment, good classes. Not enough Pilates and yoga classes which are super popular - need to add more.

Gym is nice with good group classes. But I ran into problems creating my account and signing up online through the app. I contacted the administrators at the club three times and no one could help me. And I still can't sign up for classes using the app. Iβm very disappointed with this issue

Love the leisure centre. I just wish the car park spaces were a bit bigger! Our Audi A3 is not particularly big, but regularly struggle to get in / out of the car as the spaces aren't huge and a large number of customers have huge SUVs. An Audi Q7 parked next to us a few days ago, had to get in via the passenger door as there was no room.
