The 5 stars is for 2 of the swimming teachers in particular - Patryk and Alfie teaching the 4:30 Monday beginners class. Absolutely excellent! They're actively in the pool with the kids, and the attention they give to each individual's ability is brilliant. We're so so pleased with our daughter's progress, (and also the growth in confidence that's come with it). Many MANY thanks to them!

Lane etiquette rules are there to make sure everyone can safely and comfortably share the lane. The aim is to avoid collisions like the one my partner experienced at Balham this week when someone swam headfirst into him on the wrong side of the lane and hit him in the face. For any management or swimmers not aware, here are the essential points of how it works: 1) Observe the other swimmers and always choose your lane appropriate to your speed. Make sure you are swimming in the same direction as other swimmers and on the correct side of the lane (using the marking on the floor of the pool) 2) People already swimming have right of way, people standing at the end or getting in have to choose the right time/spot to join in. Try to leave a 5sec gap between swimmers and do not push off directly on someone's feet. 3) The lane goes in speed order with the fastest person at the front. If someone is catching you up (and especially if they tap you on the feet) move aside at the end of the lane and let them pass. 4) Turn on the side you will come out on. If you're swimming on the right side of the lane, cross to the left before you turn, then turn and push up on the left. If you are standing at the end of the lane, do not stand in the turning spot as it forces people to turn and push up on the same side, into the path of oncoming swimmers. Even in busy pools, if everyone follows basic lane etiquette, there's plenty of room for everybody to share the lane safely and comfortably together.

Useless staff. Charged a no show fee despite attending. I showed my booking at the reception and mentioned I've never been before so don't know where everything is. Staff member completely disinterested, didn't even point me into the right direction. The next day I got an email saying I have been charged a few for non attendance and there's no easy way to dispute it. Management, tell your staff to actually note down attendance!

It is impossible to have a relaxing session in sauna. Frequently, groups of people have very loud conversations in a very small space, so it is impossible to escape or ask them to keep quiet and risk the conflict. The management should install the rule of silence in the sauna to make it a relaxing and inclusive experience. There are many other places where people are encouraged to have a conversation.

Decent gym gear and facilities but completely disinterested staff. Rather unfriendly place with little community feeling during the week. Finally a problem with a gym user was never satisfactorily sorted and said member was allowed to return again and again, despite exhibiting poor behaviour towards a certain sector of gym user. Management did NOT exercise proper safeguarding in this respect.

Facilities often seem dirty and at least half of the lockers are broken. Iβve emailed and left feedback previously about a faulty machine and asking if the lockers could be fixed and received no response or action

Zero stars. Itβs more depressing, substandard and dirty than you can imagine. The showers are unusable. Classes are 3 out of 10 if you get a good one. Itβs always overcrowded and for Β£11 a pop you can find a much better class pack deal with a private fineness provider. The pool and the classes are always far too crowded to be safe or remotely enjoyable. Council greed!

Make sure you understand booking terms. I found out that I'm charged Β£2.5 even though I shown up for a booking. (don't even ask details how this is possible, but it is possible) hit to a new customers MAKE SURE YOU SCAN YOUR BOOKING or you will be charged (good luck to prove it's not the case) Additional feedback which may improve customer experience: Step 1: User experience category: Please change the mobile app interface, new clients will have to undergo some special training to understand where to tap, as it's designed per year 1999 (we are about to get into 2023!) Step 2: Set customers expectation category: When facility is not available - remove it form the booking system - do not allow your clients to book service that is not available. When facility became unavailable - send notification to existing bookings ASAP - this will remove frustration. Allow customers to choose how they want to be notified (sms, email, push via app) Step 3: Streamlining punishment for booking abusers category: either improve notification message and include next steps. I was getting message about outstanding charge and I had no clue that it's due to booking that I visited (but not visited per your system) OR just automate this via direct debit. Imagine me getting this message the day after I saw I paid for a membership. I re-installed the app, I ensured Direct Debit went with not issues but still was not able to book any other service, and learnt about this 'penalty charge' all until I emailed you (facepalm) Step 4: comfort category: find the place to install 2 dryers where kids unable to reach, you do have plenty of space it's about willing to get this done. In addition: I donated 1 month of membership although I wasn't able to visit or book since this 'surprise Β£2.5 charge', but I felt empowered to leave feedback in case you care to change/improve (imagine how kind person I am) and felt enormous amount of power to click 'Cancel membership' button while performing an evil laugh. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Jimmy goes above and beyond to ensure a nice work out at the lesiure centre. From sorting WiFi to showing me around the gym, and doing thr most to ensure comfort. Proper friendly. I would rate 3 stars due to the steam room and sauna not working constant but Jimmy bumps it up to 5. Thanks for all your help Jimmy

This is such a good gym with great facilities. Time spent here today was well spent. I can not give anything but a 5star.
