They have skilled, trained and patient swim coaches welcoming to all levels of ability. There is a sports hall next to the reception which you can hire for parties. There is an air conditioned gym as well. The changing rooms are renovated and clean.

Daughter had to move to a bigger pool for her swimming lessons, pool 25 m I get here in the morning so the parking is empty but is smallish so. Much better pool to her old one as you can sit on pool side to watch the lessons, there is plenty of space for all parents and is walled off from the pool side. The pool has 6 diving platforms and lifeguard as well as the teachers. There a gym next door to the pool but haven't been in but is used frequently.

Colfe’s Leisure Centre is so wonderful I have loved going there for many years…all the centre staff are fabulous especially Ben on reception who is absolutely brilliant! And all the varied classes are taken by the best instructors. It is such a happy friendly place, I couldn’t wish for anywhere better to keep fit and I’ve made such lovely friends there…10/10!

It has now been 5 months since my 8 years old started swimming lessons at Colfe’s ! I remember the first lesson, my son was terrified to go in the water but the teacher reassured him and he loved it ever since! My son has now moved to 3 levels and his swimming skills rapidly progressed. I am so proud of him but also super grateful to the level of care Tabitha has. I can only recommend!

Had a bad experience with one of instructors called Deborah, who is neither communicative nor professional. Prior to the start of the swimming lesson, I was told by the reception that my child could have an assessment in the lesson to get an idea of the stage as the progress chart had not been updated regularly. When I went to speak to Deborah she cut me off right away saying I do assessment in my class every time without being willing to know more details. I find it very rude and disrespectful. They have different teachers cover the group lesson but inconsistent teaching approach and no feedbacks were given to children. It appears to me that those cover teachers do not care and just show up for presence. For the past two months there was no progress at all, money wasted.

Fantastic value and great facilities. Loads of free classes, great swimming pool, great gym, tennis courts etc. Lovely staff. Great that the school shares the facilities with the community.

This review covers swimming lessons, the facilities and staff. I'm really enjoying this 25m pool, which is never too busy. I got a membership for myself and my children - that allows you to go to the pool/ gym as often as you want. It's very affordable. There's also a small gym and exercise classes with Yoga starting from Β£3 a lesson. The staff are friendly and flexible. I was once accidentally overcharged (which was partly my fault) and they sorted it out within minutes and without a fuss (another leisure centre in the area took 9 months to give me a refund). Cleanliness is better than in other leisure centres, but could be improved. The weekly swimming lessons are affordable and great (30 min) and you get a discount as a member. We also did some intensive swimming lessons here (45 min), which were excellent. One of my children was at the wrong level (my fault) and again, that was sorted out very smoothly. The progress children make is above average. A big compliment to the centre, so good to have this place.

Colfe's has a fairly well provisioned gym and a good range of classes. The pool is decent, when it's not being used for swimming lessons. Don't expect anything too fancy (it is a school sports facility after all) and you'll get on just fine.
