Dreadful pool. Lifeguards are the most miserable and the whole place needs renovating. Pool is cold, changing rooms are cold. Its just a disaster. Use crook log which is happier and cleaner. Won't return until something changes.

Booked swim for all for my boys (7&11y) and myself. Price is average for this type of activity. Available pool to swim was only one, so felt pretty tight and with no slides for kids really. As a pool for swim I think it’s quite decent, but for kids I don’t think it is much fun out there. Changing rooms were a bit messy, no available covers for shoes. Bring 20p coin for locker which you won’t get back…

This centre would be such an asset to Eltham however, the swimming pool is absolutely filthy, there's dirt inside and outside the pool. People are allowed to walk around with shoes on, and to swim without swimming hats. Also, there isn't a shower policy, aka, showering before getting inside the pool, before swimming or after sauna or steam. The changing rooms and toilets are disgusting, hair, dirts and baby napkins left on shelves. Some of the showers do not have doors or shower heads, part of the ceiling is falling a part and the water is either frozen or boiling hot. I don't think this is acceptable and don't think I would visit again, shame cause the spa is great and so would be the pool if it was looked after. The whole swimming area definitely needs refurbishment and updating and a much more severe hygiene policy.

This is a review directed towards the MayWhit cafe. The Better Health gym is excellent. Usually, our experience is 5 stars, but todays its three Me and my partner (who have invisible disabilities) arrived a little too early to go swimming, so my partner went to go sit in the cafe while i went to the loo. We often sit in the cafe and wait to go in, and we haven't experienced this before. While i was in the loo, my partner was targeted by the dark haired lady (after the blonde lady was whispering to to her while looking at my partner), demanding him to order something, while holding a card machine. He explained he was waiting for me to come back and to go into the pool, but she asked him to leave if he wasnt ordering anything! There were multiple people (mostly women, and children, i may add) who were waiting like he was and they were not made to order anything. There was even people eating lunch they had brought with them. When my partner told me what happened, i decided to go back into the cafe by myself and sit quietly - like my partner. Yhe blonde haired lady even came over to clean the table mext to me, so my presence was known. I was not demanded to order anything, nor leave. This proved that - for whatever reason - they did not want a lone, male patron in their cafe. Even if that was not what they intended, its definitely how it came across to us. I saw another review similar to this one, and its shocking that this isn't the first time this has happened.

I attended the BETTER Classes, lead by Jackie who is a friendly approachable instructor. Also has years of experience so can guide you as needed. After a health issue I was losing confidence, but enjoyed the class and regained confidence in myself and what I can do to improve my health and lifestyle. Also others in the group were friendly, non judgmental, and fun.

Lovely centre, big and spacious. Lots of new attractions such as a spa refurbishment and new spin class relocation with modern software and effects. Staff are very lovely and welcoming such as the Duty Manager on Shift called Ryan who is very friendly and always willing to help! Overall a fantastic experience and I don’t think I’d be relocating anytime soon. - Regular Customer.

Amazing swimming teacher for my baby. She's brilliant, kind and patient you can tell all the babies and mums enjoy it too. Brilliant activities and equipment provided. Couldn't give 5 stars due to the family pool being far too cold for myself (let alone baby). I've seen in previous reviews that the temp is kept within reccomend parameters. But with winter coming up hopefully it changes to be kept at the warmer end of the scale so I don't have to cancel lessons to find somewhere warmer for my 5 month old. Also unfortunately the disabled shower in the ladies is the only shower with a consistent temperature.

Used only the pool on Sunday late morning. Small children's pool was quite busy but the adult one not so much and I enjoyed my swim session. It's maybe a bit pricier than some local ones to me but they have swim for all sessions throughout the day. Two comments to make hence four stars and not five. Lockers take 20p coin which is non refundable. Shame as if you want to go to shower after swimming, you have to take all your belongings with you and still hope no one steals them in the shower toilets. Also, payment machine is old which is what a member of staff told me so I was unable to pay with any of my credit cards and o Lt debit card went through. Free parking on Sundays though which is a big plus but there is free parking around the corner too of their small car park is full.
