   Just spent 2 hrs with Steve repairing my Dyson vacuum cleaner, the whole team were friendly, informative, and I enjoyed learning about the fix for my Dyson! Their concept is great, if you have ANYTHING you think might be repairable, take it in first before throwing it away!!

   It's a good place to inexpensively rent specialized tools, appliances, and electronics that you have a one-time need for. Very well organised. The flatbed scanner we checked out online was ready to pick up when we got there. Friendly, helpful people, and everyone - customers and volunteers - seemed to be enjoying themselves. In our society of disposable and single-use items, and people renting storage units because they have too much "stuff," we need many more places like this!

   I took my 20 year old Gaggia Coffee Machine into Share and Repair on the off chance it could be repaired and give another few years of useful service. Nick spent some time researching the issue and working on the offending on/off switch. He thought he hadn’t been successful but when I got home I discovered it worked again. Share and Repair are amazing. More years of great coffee for us and one less appliance prematurely consigned to the Tip. Thank you !

   I have been a Proud Supporter of The Bath Share and Repair shop for almost a full year, and it has been the best spent £40 investment. I am an avid D.I.Y'er and constantly seeking ways to consume less, live more, and love life. Not merely does this WONDERFUL service enable me to consume less STUFF, I am now able to think about decluttering my own living space knowing that all I need is a borrow away.

   I took in a Bluetooth gadget that I use with my cochlear implant. It's great for phone calls, listening to music, etc. I couldn't switch it off! The manufacturers wouldn't consider repairing it. If these things break down while under warranty, they simply replace them. They cost several hundred pounds to buy, and you are expected to just chuck them if they break down after 2 years! I was incensed by this, and they offered a small discount if I wanted to buy a new one. I am so glad I didn't. The genius at the Repair Cafe in Weston last week fixed the on/off switch in a few minutes, and it now works perfectly. I am so grateful....Thank you.

   The Share & Repair shop is a great place to get things taken in to repair, whilst also having the option to borrow an array if items such as a jetwash for a week. I think it's such a great way for us to be more sustainable, whilst saving money on items that we'd normally buy brand new and only use a few times a year! I'd highly recommend this new shop to anyone that's living or visiting bath.
