This is probably the worst gym I've been to in London. The equipment is old and broken. When you use the machines you come away with black hands as they are so dirty. The treadmills and other machines often are out of service, and there is a room with equipment that looks like it has come out of a hospital in 1937. The toilets are frankly disgusting and there is a constant smell of B.0. The classes are free but they are free for a reason. On top of everything, I have been going for 5 years and forgot to cancel my direct debit when I moved out of the area. GLL refused to refund me the £36 despite me querying it and despite my loyal custom. The gyms getting a major revamp but will need more than that I imagine.

I went to kings hall, very stressed about my account and wanted to add my children to my membership. There I meet a lovely young lady who went over and beyond to assist me. This young lady, while attempting to assist me, has had to stop many a times to assist other members. She did this with a willingness and a very patient manner. She is a highly great example of what customer service should be. This young lady is called Asma and I believe that both her parents and employers should be very happy that she exists. Kind regards Coxy

I kid you not each week another machine disappears or becomes out of order. The machines are never cleaned. The staff mop and hoover every day but never properly, very badly done and therefore constantly missing large areas of the gym, etc. The swimming pool has been a mess for literally more years than I can count. Have avoided it my whole life which is unfortunate because I love swimming. The lack of clean and functioning machines which again, literally decrease by the week, is ridiculous and the membership fee should not be more than £10-£15 for what you’re actually getting with the state of things. They need to hurry up and sort all the machines out, or start refunding membership fees. I know they’re planning some type of renovation but this has not actually started, it’s been getting pushed for months and months now and in the meantime they’re not fixing or replacing the machines. Abysmal management all around. Literally any O Better gym is better than this location. Every single toilet is not maintained and cleaned, the disabled toilet hasn’t even had hand wash for weeks now. I wish I was exaggerating in saying the state of all the toilets stinks and it is so run down you’d think you’re in a third world country’s market toilet! You feel disgusting using the toilets there. Unfortunately, I am restricted to using this location only due to disabilty and that just means I’m paying for a treadmill and if I’m lucky 3-4 functioning machines. Insanity that this has gone on as long as it has and Lord knows how much longer it will likely continue!

I’ve been doing group swimming lessons at Kings Hall Leisure Centre for a while now, and I just realised I’ve never left a review even though I’m really happy with the service and staff! The pool might be a bit old and dated, but it’s always pretty clean, and everyone there is super friendly. My swimming teacher, Ileana, is honestly the best! I actually go there just because I enjoy her lessons so much. She makes every class fun and always mixes things up with diving, jumping, and different swimming styles to keep us excited. Thanks so much for giving me confidence in the water and for making learning to swim such a fun experience!

A demolition site, the hall’s a mess with scaffolding everywhere and damaged floors. It’s dirty, run-down, and honestly feels unsafe. Definitely one to avoid. Plus, they even charge extra per person on top of the court hire, which is ridiculous. You can find way better courts for way less. Avoid

This place is so grim. It has had the same smell of urine and damp and chemicals in the men’s changing room for the past 10 years (no exaggeration I used to come here to swim with school). The place is seriously bad vibes. The sports hall is also tiny (one of the smallest “better” ones) and the floor is damaged in places. The staff are usually late to set up equipment in the sports hall so you lose time on your booking. The roof leaks in the store room cupboard. The people that come here are also pretty grim I’ve seen loads of people spitting on the floors of the toilets and leaving the toilets full of nasty stuff. I’ve seen phlegm floating in the pool before so I stopped swimming a few years ago here.

Great sport's Centre, everything is available easy to find and my instructor krystal was very nice. Didn't particularly find the receptions helpful, looking forward to start my training

Went for a tour on two occasions. Both times the staff were really rude and just seemed like they wanted the tour over with as quickly as possible. They just pointed to the areas of the gym and didn’t bother actually going through any of it properly. I asked about membership prices and I was just told to refer to the website. Just felt super hostile. Got a better tour on the google walkthrough than in real life. Either way, did not sign up and would suggest no one else does either. Not worth your bank.

Good gym with lots of equipment. Smaller gym is now closed to general users and only kids or women can use it certain days in the evening. Issue is they use the main gym cos the equipment is alot better which leaves that room empty and the main gym rammed. When I do my class there is no room in the gym. Swimming lockers haven't been upgraded and do not refund your 20p, chlorine in the pool is alot stronger than clissold or Britannia.

No commitment to open the gym on time, often the manager is late , so all the users have to wait outside on the cold until someone with the key decide to wake up
