Swimming lessons....they have increased our direct debit twice this year already. Once in March then again from December, the price altogether has increased by over 11% this year alone. This is disgusting as far above the standard rate of inflation. The teachers constantly change with each lesson so child never knows who they are getting and they seem to keep each child in one set group for well over a year before moving them up. Brentwood council shame on you for yet again robbing families of the ability to help their children stay safe in water by making the price increases so ridiculous its unaffordable. Learning to swim is not optional and yet it is becoming so due to how unaffordable it is for most people.

Nice to see the snooker, nice staff, decent refreshments. However, the toilets are shocking. They were extremely small, cramped, dirty and not well maintained (lock was wobbling off the door of the single cubicle). Totally unacceptable facilities that are in not way facilitating enough for big events like snooker to be hosted here. It's about time Essex snooker got its own venue

Iβve been attending this gym for over a year using my valid work access through Gympass, paying monthly like any other member. Despite this, I was abruptly removed by the membership team leader, Keira, who was rude, condescending, and completely unprofessional. She insisted I needed to complete an βintroductionβ β something that had never been mentioned in the entire year Iβve been attending. I was spoken to as though I didnβt belong, as though I wasnβt a paying member, and was made to feel completely ostracised. To make matters worse, the duty manager, Max, stood by silently throughout the whole situation β despite being able to see that I had already logged in. Rather than step in or clarify the situation, he allowed the interrogation to continue, showing a complete lack of leadership and accountability. This experience was deeply disappointing and frankly humiliating. I expected better from a facility that promotes health, wellbeing, and inclusion. Management seriously needs to review the way staff treat paying members and urgently address the lack of professionalism displayed by both Keira and Max.

Visited gym as a pay as you go visitor. Great value for money. Some decent equipment, not busy when I went that you had to q. Enough free weights for non athlete's and serious weight lifters. No sauna, but reflected in price. Not a swimmer, but the pool looks great and is heated. They have spin classes etc here, so a bit of something for everyone but the most serious/committed gym goer.

Squash courts are like freezer rooms, first time having to play squash wearing winter glove on my left hand and a ski jacket! Ball always cold. Very dangerous to play in such cold conditions since you don't warm up making it easy to create injury. No wonder the courts are always empty! Will have to play my 'Winter sport' (squash) in the summer at this centre!

The gym is ok, but really annoying that the cross-trainers aren't maintained. There's no resistance on any of them now until you put them up to 18/20. It would probably only take someone with a set of allen keys and some WD40 to fix. Best value in Brentwood though at Β£7 per sesh PAYG.

Arrived first thing on a saturday morning so it was very concerning the family Changingrooms were very dirty, showers were grimy with thick gunk on the walls the colour of fake tan. It is to no suprise within 24 hours all 3/4 of us are ill. Staff at the desk were friendly, cafe was closed. Probably for the best.
