I came in for a tour as I was considering a new membership and had heard great things about David Lloyd Clubs. The customer service staff I spoke to beforehand were all friendly and helpful. When I arrived, I was greeted by Zak, who was extremely professional and welcoming. He showed me around the facilities, which all looked great, and explained everything clearly. The experience made joining an easy decision. I’ve just signed up and I’m really excited to be a member. Highly recommend!

I am loving David Lloyd Giddea park. From the second I had my tour the staff have been incredible. I spoke to Zack on the phone and he booked me and my partner in for a tour. He was lovely and very informative. We signed up for a year and have been loving the facility so far. I asked Zack a question on the tour and he called me the day after with help! Brilliant service! I signed up today with my mum and we were thoroughly impressed with the level of care and attention throughout our visit. Zack was amazing — he gave us a brilliant tour without being pushy. He came across as very genuine and authentic while giving us all the information needed. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the current state of your facilities. I became a member of your club three months ago and chose the Platinum Membership because I appreciated the idea behind it and the high-standard facilities that were promoted to me. Even though I knew I would be abroad for the entire month of July, I accepted your membership terms — understanding that I couldn’t freeze the membership for just one month — and I still paid for that month, trusting that the overall experience and services would be worth it. However, since returning to London a few days ago and visiting the club again, I have been extremely disappointed. When I went to use the spa facilities as part of my Platinum membership — which I pay extra for — I found that the entry gates to the Platinum Spa were not working. That meant anyone could enter, and the area was overcrowded. The jacuzzi was producing a large amount of foam — which I noticed over the past few days — and today, the foam had turned grey. I mainly use the saunas and heated loungers, so I didn’t pay too much attention at first. But today, what I saw truly shocked me. The level of hygiene was unacceptable. I saw a woman entering the jacuzzi in clothes more suitable for the beach — a short top and a summer skirt — without showering first. There were also many children in the spa area, even though I was clearly informed when I joined that children are not allowed in the spa, especially not in the Platinum Spa. Just before I left, I saw four children playing in the cold plunge pool — they were older children too, not toddlers. I can add more ! The situation became worse !!!

I am member since 5 years and have cancelled the membership now. There are a few reasons but I don't agree with the price they charge compared to lack of service and offer which is getting worse every year. There is also no one to speak to, only an email adress which nobody response or eventually months later you get a response. There are less classes than they used to have, the time table is not suitable for people who are going to the office. Also the hygiene is not acceptable anymore. The ladies showers are full of flies every time I use them, yesterday I found a slug in the changing room next to the sinks...

This place has really gone downhill. At £134 a month for a platinum membership it a an extortionate amount to pay in this cost of living crisis & they will be raising the fees even higher next year. I wouldn’t mind so much if it didn’t always seem to be busy. There is nothing worse than the unruly screaming kids. The jacuzzi in the private spa area hasn’t worked properly for ages. Everything looks a bit dated and run down in the pool and spa area. You never get a reply from customer services because they are all allowed to work from home. I sent no less than ten emails trying to cancel my membership and NO ONE REPLIED. I had to queue for hours to speak to someone on the online chat. They are very quick to request payment though. Not the gym it once was. It’s oversubscribed now and not very relaxing.

I love coming to this gym, it’s close and has a range of facilities. However recently I’ve noticed that the ladies shower rooms aren’t clean and some of the showers are not working. In addition I’m quite fed up of people parking outside. It makes it so difficult to drive as you cannot see who is coming around the corner. Staff have said they would issue fines but nothing seems to be done about it.

Nice facility offering plenty of activities, gym, swim, fitness classes, tennis , badminton indoor and outdoor pool and tennis courts to a high standard. Relax in the lounge area. Bar food from breakfast to dinner. Sauna and wet rooms with spa treatments. I would recommend a trial period to see if you enjoy the facilities. Friendly staff. Parking on site wish an onsite paid for car wash Check out their prices and speak with a staff member. My only negative is that it can be super busy at peak times and it's almost impossible to access all of the gym equipment and the changing rooms are full including the jacuzzi. For me this was the only negative but otherwise it's a positive experience. Make sure you have the budget to sign up before making a financial commitment.
