Julie communicated with us throughout the process and was very patient with us as it took some time for us to decide on the engagement ring that was right for us.    I decided to go with a custom design for an engagement ring. I don't know much about jewellery but Julie was really great at listening to my ideas and helping translate them into what became the final design. She even created a mockup in order to ensure that I would be happy with design before she started to make the finished ring. Julie gave me thorough explanations around diamond clarity and colour as well as information about the build and hallmarking processes so that I was clear about what I was buying, what was involved in producing the ring and when I could expect to receive it. She also provided prompt replies to any queries I had throughout the process. The final ring looks great and I'm sure my girlfriend will love it.

   Julie has worked on many pieces for me over the years, including a commission for a very high value item, various repairs on items of sentimental value and also some smaller pieces. Her work is wonderful and her prices are extremely reasonable. Julie is also completely trustworthy and very reliable - this is particularly important when entrusting someone with much-loved pieces of jewellery! She is both highly creative and a lovely person to work with - I cannot recommend Julie highly enough.

   Julie made an excellent job of resetting my diamond (diamond fell out of the original ring from another jewellers, who certainly won’t be getting a glowing review like this one!) Julie was fantastic and put me completely at ease that my new setting would be secure. She is very knowledgable and didn’t change the overall look of my engagement ring at all when resetting. Would highly recommend!!!

   I was looking for something a bit different for a wedding ring, without a clear idea of what I wanted or whether it was possible with my budget. From the moment I walked through the door at Julie's workshop I was made to feel very welcome. She helped me understand what I was looking for as we spent time looking at various options and sketching out designs. She was able to come up with a beautiful design, within my budget and I'm so pleased with the result! She even made the rose-gold herself, so it's completely unique.
