I received a gift voucher for the spa on my birthday, but they are unwilling to book my appointment because they are apparently fully booked. They told me I would need to wait until next March. This lack of professionalism is disappointing. In conclusion, I do not recommend their services.
repeated noise issues, ignorant members (repeatedly ignored polite requests to lower their volume in the steam room and sauna),and poor customer service. Despite the posted etiquette rules, the sauna and steam rooms are consistently loud with talking and laughing. Reception staff seem well aware that this is an ongoing problem, yet it remains unaddressed. Additionally, the Hydropool was out of service with no prior notice! Won’t be coming back!
The spa is small but has all the main components you need. Has remained relatively clean with friendly and polite staff. Groupon also offers great deals for massage and spa access - worth every penny!
The reception area is often busy, and I can understand that the staff may feel stressed due to the high number of people requesting information. I have visited on several occasions and, unfortunately, I have sometimes experienced less-than-friendly interactions from some of the staff. That said, I feel it is important to recognize and appreciate Mrs. Vicky at the reception. She has always been exceptionally friendly, professional, and approachable. I have never seen her stressed, impolite, or in a bad mood. Her positive attitude truly stands out and makes a big difference.
Love this place has a spa swimming and gym went swimming 25metre pool staff and people friendly, plus children's pool also water arobics
The spa here is really gross. Had a brief visit and was left disgusted quite frankly. The showers are grim and the changing room floors were completely covered in water and clumps of women's hair. And to top it all off the place is covered in mould. Would not ever come back and I do not recommend visiting.
Great leisure centre, pool and gym are reasonably well maintained and equipped. Facilities however need some upgrade work.
I've been coming here since I was a kid. It's local and a good size pool. The staff are always helpful and nice. The down sides are the gym is not the biggest and the spa is so expensive I'd never pay for a day pass to try it. The women's locker rooms are always grubby. I've seen black mould everywhere and some women like to leave their used sanitary products on the changing rooms which is disgusting. It's cheap and cheerful and a great part of the barkingside community. Just the cleanliness could improve.
