It is a pleasant place for playgrounds, activities, facilities, outdoor gyms, children playing sand in the park, play spaces, cafes, skate parks and nature flowers. Lloyd Park is a large, beautiful park with facilities, gardens and nature. I viewed the forest, leaves, duck and garden. Peaceful walking and space to relax in the environment.

The William Morris Gallery is lovely. However the park especially the mediaeval moat is a disgrace . The water is thick green and stinks. A thorough clean up is absolutely needed as quickly as possible.

This garden is absolutely beautiful and easy to find. It’s located in a great area, and I was really impressed by the wide variety of stunning flowers on display. I’m from Thailand, and there were so many flowers I had never seen before—it was a completely new and exciting experience for me. I also loved the small lake, where we could see ducks, chickens, birds, fish, and other beautiful creatures. It’s a perfect place for a peaceful walk or a relaxing run. I especially enjoyed watching the ducks there—such a lovely touch to an already charming place!

Lloyd Park is where the city exhales. A green breath tucked behind brick and bustle, where trees whisper stories and the sky feels wider. Children’s laughter dances near the fountain, while old oaks keep quiet watch over passing strollers and poets with notebooks. The pond reflects more than just clouds sometimes peace, sometimes ducks. At the heart stands the William Morris Gallery, an ode to craft, to beauty, to the soul of this place. Even the benches here seem to invite reflection. Come for a walk, stay for a moment. Leave with your shoulders a little lighter.

It is really a huge park where you can spend your whole day freely. I was able to see bumble bees really close in this park. This park has various types of flowers and they are well maintained.

Really enjoy walking around Lloyd Park on a Saturday when the market is on. Can pick up a bite to eat and a drink, sit on a bench and enjoy them, pop into the William Morris gallery and gift shop, take a walk around the park and currently choose a Christmas tree. Also wandered round to the town hall and they were turning on the Christmas tree lights and are also holding events at the weekend on the lead up to Christmas. Throughly recommend.

Park for locals with a lot of facilities. Good park to bring small kids to with playground, playing fields, cafe and picnic tables. Large outdoor gym for adults, basketball courts, concrete skate park and paid for tennis courts. The park has some history signs and the William Morris gallery which was closed on day we went, a Monday. Parking at Bedford Rd car park for a small number of cars has a direct access to the park. Some tired places such as the toilets, which were without paper, but on the whole well maintained. There are flower beds and quieter areas to relax and lots of seating too. A good asset to the area.

Lloyd Park is a small but beautiful park from the formal gardens at the front to the more natural areas behind there is something for everyone. It's amazing how much there is to do here because it houses tennis courts, ball courts, a skate park, a bowling green and so much more and if you need a break there's a lovely cafe & toilets and on Saturdays it hosts a market as well.
