Nigerian food here has never been to my liking. But I did once in a while use it to take someone out who prefers Nigerian food. But put off once by owners husband who sits in the restaurant just chatting and monitoring customers which I find pathetic. He was very upset when we were there in a group and was screaming loudly because someone wanted to taste the food of another in group who ordered a buffer. The way he was screaming you will think his customers were hungry people who came just came out of prison and trying to steal his food.

The bitter leaf soup ordered was fire. Everyone at the party loved it. Very worth the price. It was packed with healthy protein. The guests were special to me and Tabaife was the right gift.

My friends and I visited on a Saturday to try the buffet, which cost Β£25 per person (excluding drinks). The food was fantasticβ€”authentic Nigerian cuisine! The music added to the atmosphere, creating a great vibe. If you’re looking for a truly authentic Nigerian restaurant, this is the place. 10/10!

Again, TABA IFE is the place to be. This time, I brought the whole family, and EVERYBODY had fun, from my elderly parents to my toddler. I will absolutely recommend it for anybody in need of a good time, it accomodates whites, brown's and blacks.

The tilapia fish was so delicious and yummy, the sauce was the real nigerian spicy taste, will buy again and already recommending to friends

Myself and my Partner ordered some food from this restaurant. First of all, I asked for a menu when I got there and they could not find one. Then got told it was Β£10 an item, Β£10 for Jollof rice!! :O. After paying Β£40 we had high expectations. For the food to not have been cooked correctly and asked for red pepper soup which looked nothing like to what I’ve had in the past. As I did not have a menu, the only things I know is the red pepper soup and the Jollof Rice, so why would I order whatever that is?. We then took the 20 minute journey back to the shop with all the food, we demanded our money back. They would only give back Β£30 as my partner tried the littlest bit. So Β£10 down. My Partner did not have half, as it was not the correct thing. I do not recommend this restaurant. They could not even give an apology.

I have been here a couple of times and the atmosphere has always been good. The pepper soup and the suya which are my favourite are quite nice. Good mixture of music and the attendant is really very warm and makes you feel welcomed. It's somewhere you should check out.

Atmosphere is nice, staff are amazing and very friendly people.. however unfortunately I didn't enjoy the food. I ordered the egusi stew.. too much meat/stockfish not enough stew.. we also ordered jolloff rice and plantain which was done very well. If you like Nigerian cuisine you should still go as there maybe other dishes worth trying.
