   In my experience, I prefer authentic Indian cuisine. On several occasions when visiting restaurants marketed as Indian, I have noticed that they are operated or run by Bangladeshi chefs or owners. While these establishments present themselves as Indian, they are in fact Bangladeshi restaurants, with the use of the term “Indian” seemingly intended to appeal to a wider customer base. I believe it is important for restaurants to be transparent about the type of cuisine they offer, particularly as there are clear differences in flavour, preparation, and cultural practices. For example, many people do not consume beef, and this is an important consideration for customers like myself. I have encountered restaurants described as Indian that serve beef or include it on their menu—something I would have avoided had this been clearly disclosed. On some occasions, I have also found that beef appears to be mixed into dishes sold as lamb, which significantly alters the taste and quality of the food. People can tell when meat is mixed, as the taste and texture of lamb are distinctly different from beef. In modern Britain, transparent and accurate representation of cuisine and food practices is essential, as it allows customers to make informed choices. Personally, I find traditional Indian food better suited to my taste than its Bangladeshi counterpart.

   I visited this restaurant for the first time this evening. Booked a table for 5. Had a great night and the food was excellent. I was impressed with the food portion sizes, the flavour and customer service. Will be visiting again soon.

   Visited with family on Saturday night. Starters were lovely. Service - excellent - all of the staff were very friendly and professional. To clarify, everyone else in the group loved their curries and sides, hence the four stars total. I had the pathia and it was ok, thicker than usual pathias I have had, did not have that slight kick and lacked fresh herbs. Not much filling in the peshwari naan.

   We visited here on a recommendation and glad we did. Service and food were both excellent and good value for money. Don't let the exterior and decor put you off and the ambient music could be improved from UK pop to some more fitting India music. But I would let the food speak for itself. They don't have a licence to sell alcohol so you can if you wish take your own. On our visit on a Saturday early evening we didn't need a booking but as the evening progressed it got busier. With many regular diners and family groups. All in all a very enjoyable meal. Thanks guys.

   Worst takeaway ever!! My food arrived bland and watery they refused to give me a refund all the food 28 pounds gone in the BIN!!! Never order from here water seeping out of the curry terrible customer service!!!

   This place is just superb. I cannot describe how good our experience was. Amazing prices, fantastic food and the atmosphere was just amazing with a full house. Waiters were great with excellent customer service. If you have not ate here, I highly recommend you come here.

   Absolute perfection! I tried Curry Lounge for the first time last night (because my regular place was no longer appropriate) and Curry Lounge did not disappoint in any area! I ordered several dishes, sides and sauces--all were flavourful! I ordered via Just Eat, and the meal was ready for collection at exactly the time they said it would. When I got there, they had their own free car park so that was great. I interacted with three staff members in the lounge and they all were the right balance of professional and pleasant-- not overly friendly/casual but also very helpful and respectful. I recommend this restaurant. Best Curry I've had to date!

   Ive been going to the curry lounge since it opened back around 2013 ish , Abdul is a nice owner but what i can say is when eating in its not very warm most of our group had to leave our coats on as we was cold food is a bit up and down sometimes superb sometimes very average no 10% discount for collection these days either !!
