“I dont normally write reviews, but based on the some of the negative comments on here , I felt a need too. Firstly, if we dont support venues like this . They will be gone! The landlady was very friendly, and its not much of an ask to throw money in a tray for the band (who had travelled all the way from cardiff). Finally, James Oliver Band are really amazing. Blessed to see such a great artist in a unique setting. We will definitely be back for more.”

I have used the pub over the last 12 years and i am now residing locally The staff and management are warm and friendly the choice of Cider Lager and real ales are great definately worth a visit.Ps Stat evenings have a classic kareoke disco”

“We visited here on a recommendation and glad we did. Service and food were both excellent and good value for money. Don't let the exterior and decor put you off and the ambient music could be improved from UK pop to some more fitting India music. But I would let the food speak for itself. They don't have a licence to sell alcohol so you can if you wish take your own. On our visit on a Saturday early evening we didn't need a booking but as the evening progressed it got busier. With many regular diners and family groups. All in all a very enjoyable meal. Thanks guys.”

The food quality was top-notch—fresh, flavorful, and served hot. You can tell they take pride in what they do. 5 Star for car parking. “Family meal with couples all travelling from different directions! Really impressed by the place - first impression was good as it felt warm and welcoming on arrival! The staff approached quickly and seated us at booked table. When everyone had arrived orders were given and drinks arrived promptly. We didn’t have to wait too long but weren’t in a rush as we caught up with news. The food was excellent, hot and tasty, staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Would definitely recommend!”

“A very good pub and friendly staff. You do get your moneys worth here. Great value. 2 breakfasts including drinks are around £10. You can get 2 pub dinners and 2 alcoholic drinks for around £25. Food is ok for the money and filling. Great if you are on a budget and drinks are reasonable too. It's always busy and has a good atmosphere. Breakfasts are great. I think I have only had two issues with food but the staff sorted out very quickly.”
