The chips were perfectly crispy, and the fish was light and delicious. The staff were friendly, polite, and made the whole experience enjoyable. Food was cooked fast and served fresh. 10/10, highly recommended!
Robbing you blind, for a medium bag of chips and a pot of curry sauce they wanted 10.50! The medium bag of chips is about 4 quid! Pots of curry are between 1.50-2.50 if that so where the hell is the extra 4-5 quid going! Half the time the chips are rank so are the kebab from there
After reading the reviews I nearly cancelled my order but so glad i didnt. Was pleasantly surprised the chips were crispy but yet soft on the inside, the donner burger was really tasty.. AMAZING portion sizes with the chips. Other things brought and just as nice! Ordered around 11.45am and it was delivered within 35 mins. Would definitely try again x
Imagine, if you will, the kind of murky water someone might have to trek 5 miles for in the middle of nowhere. Now picture that same water violently pouring out of you after daring to eat a mixed meat kebab in a naan from Bilston Fish Bar. That’s the experience I had. The food was greasy, flavourless, and within hours it turned my stomach into a washing machine on spin cycle. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. Avoid at all costs unless you’re after a quick (and catastrophic) weight loss programme.
DO NOT GO!!!!!! I ordered a large fish and chips. To be told it will be a few minutes. (Which i was happy about because I assumed it would be freshly cooked) No. I saw the man go to the room at the back bring in 2 already cooked and battered fish and put them into the fryer to reheat and serve it me 1 minute after. As you would expect I had to throw it away because it was disgusting. The worst thing is the bloke who seems to own the place told him to do it. A real shame as this place used to be good.
Had the mixed kebab and chips. Absolutely delicious and generous potions. Defo will be returning if I’m the area.

2 stars for the chips, although most in the bag were small bits so not really chips. Fish might have been nice if it had been cooked, I cut it in half and the raw batter oozed out, yuk !!! needless to say the fish had to be binned, totally inedible. Had I lived closer to the shop I would have returned it, but as it was just a passing purchase through chippy I couldn't return them. One to avoid in future. Woman that served was miserable as well, not a smile, a please or a thank you.
