First time eating here for their evening menu and I'm pleasantly surprised. Had a large mixed grill and not only was the food cooked beautifully but the value for money is fantastic. Also, the salt and pepper chips is a must do side dish. 2 for 2 for 5 stars on the breakfast and dinner options.

It's a shame really to be having to leave this review, as the owner, service and atmosphere were great. However, that's sort of where the positives end, firstly the promotion on food with 50% off ALL starters and mains. We ordered the food and noticed we had only saved £12.50, when questioned it was stated that it's the ones that are specially listed under "chicken" or "lamb" mains. We were told its clearly stated on the socials but that wasn't clear to me. Now, on to the starters, we had the chops, decent amount but mainly bone and fat. It says seasoned, but I just didn't get much other than a spice kick. Poppadoms, can't get wrong, but £1 each seems steep. Mains, I had mixed grill now for £17 I expected something really nice and good flavours. It was a complete let down, all the meats tasted exactly the same just burnt no stand out flavours, the fish pakora flavourless and just not nice. We bought a wrap and paid £1 for cheese, no cheese....we also had a kids chicken burger, literally just looked like something from Iceland nothing special, and not even chips with it so you pay for just a burger and tiny bit of side salad. Now, just back to the 50% off, we ordered a curry and as that was separate to the other curries on the menu was told it wasn't included in the offer, the curry was OK. I spent £10.80 on 3 cokes and a glass of water, not sure exactly what i was charged for abit of water. Unfortunately £75 later and I won't be returning. There are cheaper places with much better food, I couldn't eat mine as it wasn't nice so took it away. Not sure where it'll go just yet...I've literally left hungry I think I'll need a pot noodle when I get in.

Decent pint there. Seemed like a busy day in there when entering we were told that was a couple of tables left. First time going on for a mixed grill at Jacks Bar. Not the best grill I had tasted a little bland to what i expected looking at the photo to actually tasting. Naan bread was more crispy then soft. May go back to try something else. Would generally rate it 4/10 for food on the day.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is cooked well and portions are very good. The hot chocolate is amazing and worth every penny.

First off I went into this establishment thinking it was a restaurant as I had to wait at the door ... then I sat down and looked around and felt like I was at a pub with the pool table and people queueing for drinks ... then I thought it was a cafe because a lady came up to us to tell us we had to order at the till? I was honestly quite confused and then I looked at the menu and go even more confused as to what this place is or wants to be. Indian cafe, with American bar vibe that wants to be a restaurant? We ordered the food and the waitress gave us wrong food. She then appeared to give the food that waited with us for awhile to the right people who looked to refuse it. I was pretty sure they came back and gave the same food as it seemed microwaved from the intense steam coming from it. Non microwaved food never gives off as much steam ... We did also wait ages for other food but bean burger came super fast. The food also came with no sauces and no chips with burger and had to order them seperate? The curry was nice ... Prices were stupid for the quality and quantity. Chicken burger was not like the picture on the menu and felt more like a cheap kebab house burger. Tikka wrap tasted like a wet sock smells ...

I love paronthe and this place has been on the radar for a while so I headed down today to check it out. Service was excellent from start to finish. The methi-mooli parontha and desi tea were awesome my only suggestion is add more filling especially on the mooli ones otherwise an excellent find. Also a big thanks to the very helpful server/waitress Sharan.

Attend here often for an English breakfast which always goes down a treat.. today I had one if the Indian day options.. the mutter paneer and taak daal.. with roti... they were both great... could have done with a bit more paneer but that's just me I love me some paneer... otherwise tasty and flavoursome. Clean environment, clean toilet.. I have never said this about a public toilet but it smelt amazing.. looll... service is also great .. polite staff
