Attended the Chestnut Tree with 11 friends on 10/12/25 for our Christmas meal. We all had the 3 course festive menu. the food was superb as was the service. This is our usual pub so was really pleased that everyone else, who all drove miles to this venue, all agreed the food was amazing and an excellent price.

Lydia and Claire. We go out every month as a family to our usual place but my daughter wanted to try somewhere different. So she looked online and loved the sound of your menu. The reviews from others were excellent so we decided to take the risk. Firstly the place was very cosy warm so it was a lovely welcome. The staff Lydia and Claire were also very welcoming giving us multiple table options. We picked the table by the window as one of the party likes to have some natural light. There were five of us and we all had something off the Two for £13.50 menu. Couldn’t believe the price!! We had Fish and chips and Lasgne. We thought that maybe the Fish and chips would be bad quality at such a bargain price but it was absolutely gorgeous. We really couldn’t believe how lovely the meal was. So much better value than the usual place we were going. The Chestnut tree will be our regular now instead and we will definitely keep coming. Our waitresses were absolutely brilliant. On hand and really, lovely and friendly and working so hard. Lovely, surprise find.

I've been here 3 times. And had a moderate experience. The staff are friendly, and patient. The food itself leaves a lot to be desired, the atmosphere is quite cozy. But the deserts are another planet. On the 19th June I went and had a Biscoff Waffle with ice cream and it was heavenly. Really enjoyed it.

Came in for an early lunch, customer service was fantastic and the food was the best I’ve had in ages. Definitely coming hack. Didn’t catch our severs name but she is fantastic! Thank you for the best burger!

Sizzler food is pretty much the same where ever you go. Enjoyed my meal Don't like that you don't get a substitute when u remove the evil mushrooms and tomatoes. With that said it's the service and ambience that really count. Service was a little slow but servers polite and accomodating. I say this confused as to why the three tables that came a considerable amount of time after is were served first. I just put it to the back of my mind and remembered at least one saved us 40% on our meal by encouraging us to download the app. Happy days

This is our local spot, friendly staff, great service good value and love the atmosphere. They provide board games for young children and grabber machines to keep them entertained. Suitable for all ages. Prams and wheelchair accessible. There is a bar section for watching any sport events, also outside area with heaters.

Just had a lovely breakfast at The Chestnut Tree. We really enjoyed our visit and the food was amazing. We got such a lot for the money and overall the whole bill was so cheap compared to other places we have visited. Their staff member; Karen was so friendly and helpful and she made our visit such a lovely experience. We will definitely be going back. Thank you.
