Lovely pub in village of Pattingham. Great choice of food, well presented and plenty of it. We shared a Ploughman’s as just popped in for a quick drink but there was so much, ham , pate, 2 cheeses sausage rolls pork pie salad coleslaw pickles and lovely thick pieces of bread. 4 Real Ales and a very welcoming owners… beer garden absolutely fantastic plenty of covered seating and grassed areas… an absolutely lovely country pub.

We booked Sunday lunch based on a friends review of the dinner. Hands down the best Sunday dinner we’ve had out. The food and service was unbelievable, we can’t wait to come back and have been telling everyone we know how amazing the food was.

Cracking Sunday lunch provided here, the Chef and his team are certainly first class, everything homemade and the Yorkshire Puddings the size of a football. Service also very good and food is priced well. Will be back! Thanks Chef and Team!

Great little village pub. Well kept beers and friendly, helpful staff. Upstairs room is great venue for group social events. We will return to sample the menu soon!

Not eaten here but the food looks really good! The beers on are really good selection and well poured. Nice place, decent vibe and would like to try food. Will update once I do.

Very dissapointed for the 2nd time! Cannot fault staff bar & restaurant very friendly & helpful. Birthday celebration checked out the menu on line only to be handed the bar menu on arrival not the restaurant one. I was looking forward to scallops & sea bass! Queried it to be told restaurant menu was not available. Pointed it out to member of staff even showed them the website. The restaurant menu should have been taken off their website months ago but hadn't been! The food was extremely salty. My partner also noticed the chef was eating chips at the pass! Cross contamination when hand to mouth then food to plate!

Had a nice lunch, sat outside in the garden which was lovely. The chocolate mousse was delightful, the cider was excellent. The table could have done with being wiped down as it was rather gritty. Service was ok but would have liked another drink, it wasn't busy but no one asked, so didn't bother.
