Nice atmosphere, and the food was really nice. The salad was really fresh, and the cooked food was hot & cooked well. Service was efficient and professional, but also really friendly & helpful, without being over intrusive. Our food was served by Ian, who was lovely & friendly & smiley. The pub was nice & clean, and the music was relaxed and not too loud. The toilets were clean & fresh too.

Tried this pub for lunch. Waited at the bar for nearly five minutes before anyone put in an appearance. Asked for a table and after looking at the menu we again went to order at the bar. Again no-one around. Eventually a staff member came to take our order and we went back to our table to wait. To be fair we didn't wait too long as I guess it's microwaved. My friend had ordered extra chicken strips which were missing and the waiter had left before she realised. Back to the bar and again no one there. She had to go and knock on the kitchen door!! Then obviously she had to wait for the chicken to be cooked. My veggie lasagna was ok but I've had tastier elsewhere. Don't think we'll be going back.

We've visited the Brad many times with mostly good experiences. However, this evening the experience was fantastic. Ian the lad who served the food was great. Very polite and obviously took pride in his work. The food this eve was really good. Steaks were perfectly cooked and the burgers were juicy. The offers on the menu were really good too. We'll defo be back.

Had the first seating of the festive menu. Favourite course was the Trifle Cheescake - very yummy! Salmon was perfectly cooked. Brie was okay but not cooked enough for me. Needed to be more oozy!! Great service from Jo and Tom. Would definitely come again to try more items of the festive menu.

Huge sharing starter and a horseshoe of great onion rings, ones that are actually cooked not zapped. Meals were spot on. Excellent late lunch.

We both had the pie which was amazing. Partner had chips I had the mash , which was awful dry and rubbery , I mentioned this and had a refund of my meal in a voucher .. With times hard the pub needs to up the standard of meals .........

A pub with real potential. The bar staff are friendly and sociable. The food is a of a reasonable standard for the price charged. There is a wide selection of beer, cider, lager, wine and spirits available. The food serving staff need to be a little more considerate. Asking if the meal is acceptable prior to the meal being started is rather silly as is asking to clear the plates when meals are still being eaten. The outside area is well maintained and has plenty of tables and chairs. The pub area is clean and tidy. There is a large car park. The pub could do with a refit. The toilets in particular need some urgent attention.
