We had arranged to meet friends here tonight and I must say neither of us were looking forward to it after reading some of the reviews. The food was excellent, the service was great, we will definitely return.
had delivery of 2 curries and rice, food placed poorly in delivery bag meaning curry on bottom spilled out into bag, more disgusting were the long hairs in the lemon rice. definitely won't be using here again
Worst food I have ever eaten!!!! I’m giving it 1 star because I have to on google there not even worth 1 star but that’s the lowest I can give, no flavour, wet through with water!!! The staff are an absolute joke!!! Horrible people, horrible food and I spoke to the chef and he’s the same as his food. Very very poor service very very poor food!!!! Lost out on money and food!!! Don’t waste your time with this restaurant
This is the first time ordering from this restaurant & believe me it will be the very last. We ordered for our family of 6. The food came & every single curry contained a large portion of water which is was not a great start. The chips were not throughly cooked, the chicken was hard, the onion bhaji was like rubber. I’m not one to moan lightly but this was not acceptable. Especially when half the food ordered was for our children! We decided to call the restaurant and make our problems known as we did spend £70 & thought this isn’t fair that the food is not up to standards. The guy who answered was very rude to my partner and persisted to say we’re not entitled to having a refund or having our food changed (even though it would have been the exact same all over again) if you can’t cook it good the first time, we don’t want it! He said we put the water in all of our food!! Why would we spend £70 to ruin our food?? Every excuse to not give a possible returning customer a refund. He said we’re not having a refund and to shove our refund where the sun don’t shine!!! Absolutely disgraceful service & even worse food! Avoid this restaurant at all costs!! Spend your money elsewhere or purchase through Just Eat where at least your complaints are taking seriously & you may get some sort of refund!
We really enjoyed our meal here, the mixed grill starter was very nice, and we all enjoyed our main courses. The staff were great, we had never been before & they made us very welcome. It is not licenced so you can take your own alcohol.
Small Indian restaurant that has a good reputation locally, good take-out service. We went for a birthday meal and we had lovely food with friendly waiters, would definitely go again. Parking at front but can be limited with spaces and quite tight.
The food is amazing here, one of the best in the area - BUT three times now we've not had the correct dish that we've ordered when getting a takeaway. And when ordering we've specified a time for it to be delivered, usually 1, 1½ hours ahead, and instead the food gets delivered straightaway every time. Disappointing.
I Rather cook myself at least I will make better food than them. I ordered chicken curry from Uber Eats and it doesn't taste good when I was having curry I was feeling like I was having curry with water and I don't know how they got good reviews even though the food is not tasty and I think the chef doesn't know how to cook or maybe I think it already made and they just add sauce's so if you are thinking of ordering from here I recommend not to order is from here your money will be worthless you rather find another Indian restaurant.
Ordered delivery - brilliant food tasted lovely but the portion sizes (rice and starters in particular) were quite small for the price. Maybe if eating in it would’ve felt better value for money, but overall would probably go there again
I had a pleasant experience here with some friends last week. The food was tasty and the prices were not too bad. We paid roughly 20£ each for a starter, and main dish plus side of naan/rice. The restaurant is deceptively big as from the outside it looks fairly small. I would eat here again.
