   I love that everything is half price after 7:30! Such a good idea to prevent waste and good for people who appreciate a bargain. Friendly service too, the man at the till with glasses is sweet and enthusiastic, which always makes a difference. And obviously lovely sushi xx this was £4.97

   Normally their food is really good but they never answer the phone when I need to call about allergies ect. They seem to add wasabi into the nigiri under the salmon which I wish they wouldn't do as whether I want it in my food should be my choice as a consumer, or at least give me the option to call and ask. Other than that the food is cheap and decent for the price point with a variety of hot and cold foods.

   My go-to place for a quick lunch in Nottingham. Absolutely love the food, and it's very authentic (following a trip to Japan!). The Bao Buns are particularly good, and service is always incredibly fast. After ordering on the touch screens they almost instantly hand you your food, which is prepared fresh but the most popular items are always available. Staff are always very very friendly, and there is ample seating avaliable. Highly recommend, best place for lunch in Victoria Centre!

   I have rated istu 5 stars, just because the service is great, the food is fresh and the prices are fair. The shop is always looking clean and well-maintained. However today I ordered the small 12 pieces of sushi with 5 larger salmon ones, but I did not eat the large salmons because they were weirdly tasteless. Raw and cooked salmon is delicious, and I've had it with sushi before. But for some reason I couldn't taste anything in the Salmon from istu, which raises a few worries on my behalf.

   First time a went I had chicken noodle soup, barely any chicken but didn't complain as I knew they'd just opened. Today I went again as I wanted to give them another chance, ordered dumplings, noodles and veg and actually watched them prepare my food as I was taking away, everything was microwaved... I ordered a boiled egg with it (£1.50 for an egg) and I watched him microwave my egg...I wish I'd asked for a refund there and then because the food wasn't fit for purpose, 14quid down the drain and I threw half of it in the bin. The noodles tasted like worms, everything else tasted like salt, the "veg" was non existent and the dumplings hard and tasteless. Won't be returning.

   Was so excited for an itsu to finally open in Nottingham. Disappointing that it’s so small and no seats inside. Famous chicken soup and spicy salmon rolls are delicious. Great for a quick lunch.
