   My husband and I were adventurous in coming here as we wanted to experience our food being cooked in front of us. It was worth the effort. The staff were very welcoming, the place was neat and clean and our chef, Santos, entertained and engaged with us so wonderfully. The food he prepared for us was exquisite and the portions were perfect for each of us. Teppanyaki Lamb, rib-eye steak was our choice with chicken crispy noodles, enough to share between the two of us.

   Quiet Sunday evening and only a couple of tables in but we had a teppanyaki table and Santos. The chef was absolutely great. Food was lovely and really good portion size (felt bad I couldn't finish it!!) And it was a special occasion and we got a congratulations dessert for my parents 50th wedding anniversary

   We've come to Katana many times before for their excellent Sushi but tonight we had Teppanyaki - and it was great! Special thanks to our expert chef Gee who was not only a superb chef, but also fantastic with his knives and kept us both amazed and laughing all evening

   Went for the first time and was blown away by the service and quality of the food. We hadn't been to a Japanese restaurant before so went for the basic set 3 course meal that included one meat dish as the main. So much food and very reasonably priced. Service was very quick and thoughtful - miso soup was served while you look at the menu and hot towels brought after the mains. It was busy with a nice atmosphere, everywhere was lovely and clean. Would definitely recommend. If you have a larger party, they have teppanyaki tables where they will come and cook the food in front of you.
