I ordered a mixed grill and chana with 2 naans .. Garlic and Keema naan to be delivered on just eat. Paid £43. The mixed grill.. the chicken pieces were dry and hardly any flavour to them. The chicken wings very tasty.. but the seek kebabs tasted old and reheated .. the channa chick peas had strands of noodles in them !! Whats that about ?? very disappointed. The fish pakora was again not tasty but tasted damp. Overall the food arrived really quick so think just sent out in haste .. very disappointing meal for the money I spent. I expected the food to have been fresher and tastier having the place been recommended to me. I hope the cooks read this review and send out better food that's being delivered. I don't advise you order out from this place!

Came here when it first became a Desi pub and was less than impressed, fast forward 6 years and it’s now one of my go to desi pubs if I’m staying in Wolverhampton. Food really is first class, they cater very well for allergies and food is always made fresh to order. One of the best desi pubs around. Fish pakora is excellent, mixed grills are tasty and the keema mutter is first class. Well done guys

This place used to be great, however the food has gone significantly downhill!! We visited this place of Saturday 18th October in the evening and the place packed. The atmosphere was excellent and usually a busy place is a sign of good food. The food took around 1hour 30 minutes to show up which we don't mind, if the food is good. The only issue was that the staff kept saying "it's just coming out" and it took ages. However... The Sheesh kebabs tasted like they were made from cat food. The chicken tikka was dry and tough and felt like chewing on a car tyre. The tikka tasted like it was reheated. The Currys weren't great and the only edible thing was the chips. Really disappointed with Builders as it used to be superb, but I won't be going again after this experience.

Found the Builders arms online and the reviews seem good! We had a party of 4 to entertain for the weekend so this place seemed right. Great selection of Alcohol and the food was tasty. I thought the prices were decent and worth it for what we had. We were served by Angus, he was a friendly guy, made some good conversation while we checked out the menu and made the visit enjoyable. . Would definitely go back!

I had a fantastic meal at The Builders Arms in Wolverhampton. The mixed grill was excellent—great portion size, high-quality meat, and packed with flavor. The lamb curry was also delicious, rich, and well-spiced. While the service was a little slow, it was understandable given how busy it was on a Saturday evening. Overall, the food was top-notch, and I’ll definitely be returning for more. Highly recommended for anyone looking for excellent Indian food!

Food is very tasty, but might be salty to some. Mixed grill can feed 2 or 3 if you have it with naan or rice... Very very good. Service is generally good, but we had issues waiting for naan breads/being questioned that we ordered them. And waiting for cutlery and other little things.

Ordered food to take away and stopped for a drink whilst waiting to collect. Food was ready on time, when we got home everything was well packaged and the food was hot and tasted great. Ordered various item including butter chicken and mixed grill, all excellent. Looking forward to returning again soon. Would be great to get some more rum options behind the bar for future.

We were passing through Wolves and stopped over for drinks and mixys. Both were exceptional! Definitely recommended.

Got to say I've heard good things about this place and after my first visit I won't be going back, me and some friends ordered separately, when at the bar with one of my mates he ordered and the bar staff then went to the other end of the bar to serve another customer and then came back to me for my order, I was the last of my group to get my food as expected but my mate and other friends had all finished by the time my food had arrived we told them a few times I was still waiting (I order less than 5mins after my mate), 45-50mins after the payment left my bank account (that's right I checked as I had nothing else to do.) I had the medium mixed grill, which didn't look that bad, until I got to the lamb chop, and I use that term loosely, it was all bone and gristle, but saying that it was the only thing I left on the plate. Not the best.

AVOID !! Extortionate prices on drinks. Ordered grill today, grill arrived quick wasn't fresh but reheated once. Ordered naan twice, the second time it arrived after 30mins, by then the food was all cold. On complaining, were told 5mins but the 5mins turned into 30mins. My first time in this pub, had the worst experience. NEVER Again !
