Excellent service. Very good atmosphere, authentic music. Great poppadoms and dip selection. Good quality meat and fresh vibrant dishes. Naan breads a little thin for my personal preference. Reasonably priced. Would return. 4.6
My partner and I have walked past Robby’s frequently and thought we ought to try it. The service was brilliant and the food was also very high quality. The Keralan Lamb Shank and Peshwari Naan were exquisite. The mocktails are also to die for. We had a lovely time and the price was very reasonable. The churros are a definite must to save room for.
I usually order from Robby’s for takeaway, but me and the Mrs decided to pop in for a change and we’re so glad we did! The service was great, really friendly and welcoming from start to finish. The food was just as lovely as always, full of flavour and perfectly cooked. It was nice to see a familiar face too, even the delivery driver recognised us, said hello, and asked how everything was, which just shows how much they care about their customers. Overall, a great experience all round. We’ll definitely be dining in again soon!
Every visit to this place is always a winner. Best curry around, food is always 10*. Chicken is always tender and juicy, naans are tasty and topped with ghee. Service is always brilliant too with all staff making you feel welcome and as a regular you always feel appreciated. I've recently moved from the area but still travel back just for this place. There recent refurb looks fantastic and the new plates and dry ice effect on the tables fit perfectly. Definitely recommend
Was taken here by my friend for my birthday, and must compliment the staff fir a great experience. Made me feel special. Khan was super friendly and gave us a free pudding which was so so good. Main meal was delicious and good portion size. Very tasty and great atmosphere. Could do with some music in the background. Decor nice too.
Highly recommend Bobby’s, excellent meal, great friendly service owner, son and crew went out of their way to make my visit the perfect dining experience. 5 Star

3 of us dropped in when staying overnight nearby and we really enjoyed an excellent tasty meal with attentive kindly staff in a most pleasant and peaceful atmosphere which made it a very pleasant dining experience. Most diners it appeared were nice local people who appreciated a high quality indian meal. Highly recommended.
AVOID! I had the chicken tikka starter here yesterday and ordered mains, however once the starter arrived i noticed the chicken was pink inside and i then made this aware to a waiter who came across like he couldnt care less, didnt apologise and was actually very rude when i showed him the problem, he then quickly took the food away before i could take a picture and we waited ages before a replacement arrived, which ended up coming the same time as our mains, all of which tasted average/below average of what you would expect from an indian restaurant, there was also a hair in the mint sauce with the poppadums at the start, which the waiter tried to jokingly blame on us however it was long and curly like a beard hair and none of us have a beard, i honestly wont be returning. The whole place and staff have a very unhygenic feel about them.
Thursday night, very quiet, 7 of us came in, food ok nothing special, but!!!! The bill came out and they took the p*ss. 10 poppadoms @ 1.70 each. Average meal price was £13.00. Don't rip off your regular punters!!
