   As a chef this is the worst Thai restaurant I have ever went to, honestly have no idea why it has rave reviews. The service is horrific, management makes you suicidal and food is of very poor quality. I found the curries way to overpowering with Thai basil, no balance of flavour whatsoever. Whereas the stir fries way too dry and extremely bland. Including the rice inedible as its not cooked enough and quality is poor for price. Here is my improvements if the tone deaf management would listen to: 1) improve overall customer service and train the staff. 2) if a customer does like the food, offer a refund or half the bill (most decent restaurants would do this). Those two improvements would help. If you want real authentic good value Thai with excellent customer care go to Thai House.

   We happened to visit this place on a saturday afternoon. Located in a non busy area, this little thai spot really passed our expectations, the crispy squid, creamy prawn and beef curries really blew our mind away along with the combination of the aromatic rice. Definitely worth the visit and price.

   Whilst in Belfast yesterday (10th Sept) I Googled places to eat in the area which I normally do and was instantly attracted to Bo Tree due to being a huge Thai food fan and was impressed by the positive reviews. We arrived around 12:10, for a table of two, my son & I. The place had one other single diner eating and was very quiet. Water brought to the table without having to ask which was a nice touch. We ordered food from a local waiter who was quite nonchalant to be honest. We asked if the Panang Curry came with Rice, to which he replied "no because when we get large groups and everyone orders a Curry they end up with too much Rice". A ridiculous reason to not include it in my opinion, especially for the price of £14. We ordered a Rice to accompany it, at an additional £3.55. The food arrived and was served to the table by a very pleasant and mannerly Thai guy. The colours & presentation were excellent, the flavours phenomenal. I've travelled Thailand at length on two separate occasions and this food is up there with some of the best authentic Thai I've had. What bothered me most is the entire duration of our meal no one bothered to come near us to check on us - really frustrating when there is literally just us and one other person eating in the entire restaurant - and I noticed she was checked on. Service levels were non-existent when the local waiter is just sitting down at a table across the room. They seem to run an all-day priced menu as opposed to a seperate Lunch/Dinner one, which in my opinion is a tiny bit expensive for Lunch however would be great value if visiting in the Evening. The Papaya Salad we ordered at £11.35 is extortionate and although the flavours were excellent its way overpriced for what it is. The Pad Thai was £14 including Chicken & Prawns which was very tasty and a decent portion. The Panang at £14 with an additional £3.55 for Rice, is just a tad too expensive at Lunchtime - £17.55 for quite a small curry. As I said though this would be more acceptable at Evening time. I truly believe service levels on this particular occasion were quite poor and needs attention - especially when the place is dead! Make a bit of effort with your customers. This left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth, but the flavours of the food as I said were fantastic!

   Food was pretty tasty. Very busy atmosphere and staff were run off their feet trying to take care of everyone. Still, they squeezed me in, which was nice. I had the vegetarian fried rice and mango sticky rice for dessert, both of which were good.

   Bo Tree Kitchen in Belfast is an excellent choice for authentic Thai food! I ordered the Vegetarian Tom Ka (Coconut Soup) and the Veg Special Fried Rice and both were absolutely delicious full of fresh ingredients and packed with flavor. The food was prepared quickly and carefully packaged, staying hot and fresh even after pickup. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. I left a tip because great service should always be appreciated, and I’d encourage others to do the same! If you're looking for high-quality Thai takeaway in Belfast, Bo Tree Kitchen is definitely the place to go.

   First time at Bo Tree and it was lovely! It’s a very busy place, so best to book. Ordered some deep fried prawns as a starter. Then the chicken red curry with some coconut steamed rice. The curry itself was delicious, full of flavour and spicy! The deep fried prawns were nice too, but I’d like to try some of their other starters next time. The staff were very friendly and even though the restaurant was busy they were attentive. I also got my food pretty quickly too. Well worth a visit and I’ll definitely be back!

   Great authentic Thai food in an exceptionally busy restaurant. Despite the frenetic atmosphere, the service is first class. We tried the Red Thai Curry with prawns, the Beef pan-fried with baby aubergine, and a side dish of broccoli with oyster sauce. A large crowd of 20-somethings were celebrating a football victory so the noise levels were high. It added to the atmosphere . The food is exceptional . Go if you can.

   We were totally whacked after a hard day’s work and took a chance on an early walk-in. Pure magic. The food was absolutely brilliant. Fabulous mix of street food and regional Thai. Best Thai meal we’ve had outside of Chiang Mai and very reasonably priced. Kóp kun Bo Tree Kitchen.

   My son home from England with his partner whom id never met booked the restaurant on my recommendation. I acknowledge how busy this lovely restaurant is.. We waited at least 20 minutes on our table that was booked for 6.30pm. We had our starters that were delicious.. But as soon as we had finished the mains arrived. Again delicious.. As always.. But at no time did anyone come and check on us. The mains were cleared and we were looking forward to dessert to be told we had 6 minutes to leave and to go somewhere else for dessert. We were not even offered a dessert menu. Not a great impression when you meet your sons partner from England who absolutely loved the food but on this occasion not the service. Im in the hospitality service myself and i appreciate the pressure waiting staff are under.... But to be told to go and find dessert somewhere else is totally beyond me. I was introduced to this cute restaurant by a hodpitality friend of mine and although the food has never failed to please... To be told to leave through no fault of our own when we were ready to spend more money on dessert is beyond me. Bo Tree.. Youve let me down...
