   Mrs. A had a craving for Chinese food & we decided upon the Joy Inn. The food was good & service great. Unfortunately we arrived shortly after 6.00pm & were unable to take advantage of their awesome afternoon/early evening special prices - SPA007

   This was a pretty mediocre meal. I felt rather misled by the pricing on the menu posted here by the restaurant only 7 months ago. I have posted the current menu so that others aren’t also disappointed when they arrive. It seems crazy to me that prices would increase 30-40% in just 7 months!! Also now rice isn’t included in the main dishes. We paid £3.50 for a small side of plain boiled rice. The food was adequate, but nothing special. The sweet and sour tofu was very sweet. The Szechuan chicken was fine, not very spicy. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Not a good value for the money.

   Went here tonight while visiting Belfast with my 2 kids. First off, the food was amazing. My picky kids tried everything and we were very satisfied. Good portion sizes. As for the service, top notch. I had read some reviews about rude service, but this is not the case. They are very efficient. I made a same day reservation 2 hours before, and we felt so welcomed, lovely table. The place is run with precision, the food came out quickly, fresh, hot, and they were so quick to refill drinks etc. Lovely restaurant, lovely staff, and delicious food. Would recommend and will be back on our next visit for sure!

   We booked a table for a birthday celebration and we had constant attention from all the staff to ensure a wonderful night. Bennie the owner is a fantastic host and made sure we were not rushed and were served when it we asked for the next course. We shall return on our next visit to Belfast

   The owner takes care of his customers from the very beginning to the very end. Staff is everywhere ready to take your order or help. They are there but you can barely notice them :) The food was delicious. I can give them 5 out of 5. I can highly recommend this place. Thank you for a nice evening!

   Delicious food, reasonably priced….what else do you need? Excellent service as usual, with food arriving swiftly which makes for an excellent choice for an afternoon lunch stop when working in Belfast, or indeed when passing by. Great atmosphere and fully licensed makes for a great birthday venue. The Mango Prawns are a favourite of mine!!
