   Ordered breakfast from outside counter. Waitress brought out food and said cutlery was back at counter. In the 5 secs it took, with the waitress present, a seagull stole the food off the plate. The poor review was given as the owner didn’t offer any replacement. Granted it wasn’t there fault but an attempt to improve the solution would have been appreciated

   Has always been the place for breakfast especially for the locals. Very disappointing, although eating in tea came in a paper cup because the staff said they didn’t have a suitable cup. Pancakes came, zero presentation just 3 small ones slapped on a plate, crazy considering the price they charge Great location spoilt by a total lack of love and care and thought. Could be a wonderful experience with an owner who cared Try the Salcombe Coffee Co. So much better

   I'm afraid this cafe is a really overpriced let down in comparison to everywhere we have eaten breakfast in Salcombe and surrounding areas. £44.30 for 2 adults and an 8 year old! Cheap food products, not very well cooked and all served in a rush rush attitude. When I told the all very young and not very bothered staff that the table wasn't clean and had food on it they said "oh dear that's a shame!!" Then I went through 4 or 5 sets of self service cutlery that most definitely had not seen the dishwasher recently! When our food came the £2 mushroom side order was literally 3 mushroom cut in half and the toast was wrong type on all orders. Butter was in the foil wraps and was liquid you may as well poured out of a jug! The £5 milkshake was just watery cheap choc milk in a very small cup and the worst priced I've seen all holiday! Also cant remember the last time I was ever charged for tomato sauce sachets! If you are looking for even a modicum of decent breakfast go and find somewhere else. AVOID!!

   Love this place, always come here for an English breakfast everytime we go to Salcombe. Staff are lovely, friendly and always smiling. Ideal location next to a car park and the waterfront! We reccomend the captains breakfast!

   First and last time coming here... American pancakes didn't come with streaky bacon, they forgot to bring it out with my other order. I ordered avocado with poached egg on toast, was £8.50 and got one slice of bread with everything squashed on to it.. It didn't feel friendly nor like they wanted to get your order right..

   Excellent service, generous portions and probably the most reasonable prices in Salcombe! The milkshakes were lovely too. Good seagull -frightening skills at outside tables.

   Easy ordering service. Order at the hatch and pick a table to sit at either outside or in their cafe area inside. At least one third of their menu was unavailable, due to them not having pitta bread, but we were offered an alternative type of bread by a very polite waiter. Nice, uncomplicated food, perfect for our fussy toddlers. I ordered mozzarella and tomato baguette (I enjoyed it very much), my hubby had a prawn baguette and my two toddlers shared a smoked salmon and cream cheesss sandwich. Readonably priced.

   Epic breakfast sandwich and coffee. Really friendly service and lovely to sit outside and see the sea. Can't recommend this place enough for a traditional breakfast bap! Even the little people enjoyed the size of the bacon sandwiches.
