Beautiful food, suckulent chicken, dreamy chowmein (literally i dream about it) and top notch curry sauce. Best chinese in the whole of walsall, west midlands and the WORLD. Been going here since a kid and now im 37. Some things NEVER change. Welcome house is well known for their thick tasty gravy, i can confirm its ELITE. CHEAP AS THEIR AMAZING CHIPS.

The food was disgusting and cold The chicken on our crispy lemon chicken was dry and unable to chew never line digest The crispy beef was Chewy like gum, not crispy and tasteful Chips where like cardboard All serve and tasted like had been cooked and prepared the night before Customer service upon discussing with the restraunt was cold Upon explain there is six people who now have to wait for another restraunt including kids, not even a refund was offered

Food is consistant, service good and often prepared fairly fast, depending on time ordered and how busy they are. Reasonable price too. Delivery times can vary if you order in. Collection is better ans food stays hot
The food is consistently excellent here. It is a very long established takeaway so you can order with confidence. Like most Chinese restaurants/ takeaways the menu is huge and although the meals listed as ‘chef specials ‘ include a description, the remaining dishes do not. An explanation of how the dish is cooked and served, ie with or without sauce and side would be helpful, unless maybe this is part of the fun? There is no doubt that Chinese takeaway has increased dramatically in price over the last ten years but I was horrified to note when ordering, that bypassing ‘hungry house’ saved me a massive £7.60 on a small takeaway for two persons, starter and main, no sweet or extras. So, a very well deserved 5 stars for Welcome House Chinese. Excellent food, excellent service, but a massive thumbs down to ‘hungry house’ who are obviously completely ripping off those of us who are unable to go and collect the order. £1 or £2 would have been acceptable but £7.60 on a bill of £26.40 is deplorable. Restaurants need to be boycotting this company and passing the savings on to their customers.
