   First time ordering , great portion sizes first Chinese that makes their own salt and pepper chicken was lovely chunks of chicken breast in crispy coating , curry sauce was 10/10 nice and spicy , fried rice and chips were also cooked perfectly. Wish there was a choice to have salt and pepper chips with the salt and pepper chicken instead of ordering both individually. Will order again and looking forward to trying other items on the menu.

   Used to love this Chinese until their driver pocketed £20. Called the restaurant who confirmed reciept of 2 £20 notes, my partner mistakenly gave £20 notes instead of £10 notes. Partner paid with 2 £20s and £9 change. He received no change in return. Restaurant gave driver £11 change and received 2 £20 notes. Driver claims we paid with 2 £10 notes and change. Driver pocketed himself £20 and the restaurant just lost a very loyal customer.

   So after a 13 hour shift on a busy medical ward at new cross. Wanting a quick fix for tea for myself. Ordered chips, rice and curry sauce in a tray. Got home.... to start the food smelt burnt before I tasted it and after taking a bite it was definitely burnt. Returned the good to the shop... to be given no apology..... no offer of reordering same food or an alternative, I was given a refund and that’s it. If I could I wouldn’t even award 1 star. I will never use this shop ever again!!!

   I have been using this food establishment for over a year, food was nice, on time an prices weren't bad, but of late the food has been getting worse an prices going up. Tonight my egg fried rice as soon as i took the lid off you could not only tell from the darkness of it but also you could smell it had been burnt. Usually i would have called to complain but because i had already waited over an hour for my food i just left it an didn't eat it. It is astonishing how a food place that must cook rice more than anything can get it so wrong....because of this i won't be ordering from here again, for me that was the straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak.

   I've been going there for my favourite chicken curry since it originally opened up as the Green Pine and later when it was called the Lucky Star. Indeed, I remember the current young lady at the counter as a babe-in-arms. In all that time I've always enjoyed my food from there and never had any problems at all.
