   i decided to jog home from my girlfriends house and i honestly thought you know what may aswell go chippy so i did and they were the nicest people ever and gave me lots of food and we had a small conversation which was nice and the guy and woman behind the counter was really nice she the atmosphere just felt nice too i really recommend coming here everyone!

   Called in here tonight on route home donor meat was dry unable to eat, fish was really good size but again dried out think maybe cook to order rather than being in warmer all day. they do have really nice chips, gravy peas and beans though feel like I wasted £27

   First of all, Mario is such a lovely guy, he was such a laugh & great to talk to whilst I waited. He was also really patient with me whilst I tried to make my mind up which I appreciate a lot as a bit of a scatterbrain. The food here is all absolutely delicious, and you can see the quality & freshness of it all as soon as you walk in. I wasn't sure what size fish to get & Mario held the different cuts up to help me decide & then put them in the fryer once I'd decided & I could see that they were fresh & good quality fish. The chip portions are very generous & the Mushy peas & curry sauce are beautiful & super tasty. The chippy itself is so clean, you can see the kitchen area from the waiting area & it's spotless. The chippy accepts cash & card so there's an option for everyone depending on your preference. This is absolutely one of the tastiest chippies I've been to, & definitely the friendliest. I decided to try Oakdale Chippy because they're always winning the top spot in the Nottingham Post's Best Fish & Chips vote & it's very clear to see why! I'll be coming again & would recommend them to anyone.

   Been going here for years. Staff are brilliant, food is amazing. Will go the extra mile if you were not totally satisfied. Would recommend the battered haloumi and chips. Would definitely be eating here again!

   By far the best chippy around the owners are lovely friendly and there staff. The food is always fresh and tasty. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for a chippy tea. The food value for money, extremely clean they should be proud of them self to serve the local community

   Came here for the very first time on my way home from work and first of all the staff were brilliant and so friendly. I got fish and chips which were all so fresh and hot when I got home and great portions! He also gave me a sample of donner meat to try as he said his was the best and tbf he was right. Also shout out to them for frying in rapeseed oil which is the healthiest to fry in! Will be coming again!
