   The atrium provides variety and choice, but in reality, consuming poison is much safer. No matter what they serve, it all tastes the same bland disgusting mush. The only thing disappearing faster than your appetite is your money.

   1 member of staff 1 coffee drinks machine saw another member of staff touch food probe with bare hand before testing a product in the hot cabinet dirty work surface and dirty carving knife left on counter top 2 coffees £7.20 . Very poor quality

   Lovely student area, good food and serenity. There is a big screen for live events and a sound system for music. The heating system is very effective, keeping the place warm. It's a lovely area to cool off from a lecture or relax before the lecture.

   Some staff and especially the chefs are extremely rude. Spent 3 years of my life as a student eating at the atrium. Only breakfast and desserts during the dinner time is good. For vegetarians only the good options are pizzas. Dinner is so awful that I would rather starve than eating it.

   Food passable for mass catering. Service was awful - lacking even in basic human respect sometimes. A massive glass panel fell from the height at the front of the building, almost killing some people.

   Nice enough place to sit in, but the catering is not up to scratch. The salad bar is excellent, offering variety, quantity and quality at a reasonable price, but the rest of it - no. I was there for a conference and they just had no idea of how to cope with so many people. At breakfast they kept running out of eggs, teabags, cups, but never thought to monitor stocks themselves - they had to be reminded every time. There were also not enough coffee machines for the number of delegates, leading to long queues just to get a hot drink. But the worst thing of all was the dreadful, less than mediocre canteen meal we had to queue up for on the Friday night and were charged an eye-watering £19.20 for! Take my advice and catch the 28 or 30 bus to town (so easy) and have a really excellent meal at, say, Kayal, for the same price or less instead.
