Amazing quality. The Haddock was fresh, and perfectly cooked. Crisp non greasy batter. Chips traditional, hot and fresh. With very generous portions. Fast delivery from our order online. No complaints from us.
Just had pie,chips,peas and gravy. Chips were hard and floury and slightly undercooked, Pie was soggy and im not sure it was a pukka, Peas were very nice but gravy was very watery, all in all after reading positive reviews I may try again and hope it was an off day, Please read my other reviews for comparison
Stopped off after searching for chips on Google Maps and found this gem. Great tasting chips, perfectly cooked, and the staff were superb. They were really helpful showing us portion sizes before we bought and then split a big bag for us as three of us were eating in the car. A great chip shop.
Food is amazing from Saveloys! Great fully loaded kebab boxes with cheese. Staff always friendly.

Saveloyz, NOTTINGHAM. 26/9/2022. Just phoned to ask if they cater for Gluten Free and the gentleman said "YES" on Mondays as they change the oil then, BUT, it turns out that he only has chips in the ONE fryer with NOTHING else going into there too.!!! So, basically, the gentleman guaranteed g/f chips at ALL times.
This must be the best chippy in clifton if not nottingham, we're from Manchester but my mum in local to this chip shop. The portion sizes are out of this word compared to the competitors close by. The fish is to die for and the savaloy and battered sausage are fantastic, the chips themselves are beautifully cooked in a none greasy oil and they are nice and thick still. The perfect chip in my eye. The kebabs looked amazing with generous portion sizes again and the smell was simply out of this world. The new owners since Melly ran it to the ground, are very nice, Almost comedians. I can't rate this choppy enough if you love good food and great service you can't go wrong!
