Lovely friendly staff. Ordered a Bailey's Latte, a Machiato and a slice of cake which we shared between the two of us. The cake was lovely, served on a slate board and it came with strawberries and squirty cream. Various choices of milkshakes and iced coffee. Thank you ladies.

I don't normal leave reviews but feel I need to today Me and my husband popped in for some lunch, I have a jacket potato with chilli and cheese, it was hard and I couldn't eat it, you could tell they had just put it in the microwave and the chilli was bland with no spice to it at all. My husband had chicken tikka with chips, chips was hard and anemic the curry was also tasteless, bland and the chicken was like frozen packet stuff. The staff was abrupt, did not communicate in a friendly manner, felt like they didn't want to be there, very poor service. We waited 50 mins for the food to come out and the table next to us came in after us and got there food first. The cutlery was also dirty. Its a shame really

Tuesday 23rd September. Had to wait for 1hr for food, hot pork roll was cold, no beef in beef curry but 3 large lumps of potato, portion was extremely small.Roast beef dinner tasted reheated. Waitress had forgotten how to smile. Dumped incorrect dirty cutlery on the table. Teapot, saucer and a plate were chipped. Older waitress was lovely and fish and chips were good. Very busy, not enough staff, kitchen couldn’t cope

This little cafe/restaurant has a lovely menu and great choice , however, they chuck everything in the microwave ! Quiche, pies , roast potatoes all reheated for a few minutes, it completely spoils it. What a shame. I've had some lovely salads previously (safe as no heating required) but wouldn't order hot food from here again unless the microwave was out of order and they actually used an oven to cook their food ! Gave 4* for service as staff were lovely

First time there and we had roast dinner. No air conditioning where we were sat, the dining room was very very warm and just because we were with our dog! The waitress did bring us drinks and glasses and two out of two were very dirty! Seemed like they didn’t even rinse them at all. The food…no fresh/ homemade at all (I know you can’t ask for too much for £11). So, overall, next time would be just for drinks! Environment was great as we had live music, our dog did love it, despite the heat.

A friend recommended the restaurant and I hadn't heard of the restaurant. Visited 28th February and had lunch at Millies, and it was fabulous. The food is top quality and resealable priced. There is a great atmosphere and the staff are so friendly and helpful.

Had to wait over 20 minutes to have our order taken even though they weren’t busy. The cake was stale. Worse still was two dogs were in Millie’s Coffee shop and at least two members of staff were stroking them and then went back behind the counter without washing their hands.

Came here today for breakfast, the absolutel best breakfast in Ilkeston. £6.50 for a good quality Full English (sausage, bacon, beans, eggs, black pudding, mushroom, fried bread, has browns), with doorstop toast and marmalade too. A definite hidden gem. (Not to be confused with Millie's Coffee Shop on the 3rd floor where the staff are rude and the quality of food is no where near as good).
