I'm currently recovering from knee replacement surgery and can't cook so I'm having alot of takeaways!! I've ordered twice from Cobways and the food is always hot, fresh and delicious. Great choice too. Im sure I'll still use Cobways when I'm fully recovered!
Absolutely brilliant food and the staff cant do enough for you. Everything is fresh and cooked to perfection. The prices are reasonable too.
Cobways is one of those places that quickly becomes a 'go to' spot. The cobs are fresh, tasty, and made exactly how you like them. What really stands out is the owner—he’s friendly, easy to talk to, and always goes the extra mile to make sure customers are happy. You leave with great food and in a better mood.
One of the best I think. Plenty of choice. And get more than enough filling. Cobs or baps are fresh and larger than your average cob shop. Breakfast cobs and choice is good. Certainly at the price around 3.50 to 5.00 quid excellent value for money.
Food used to be fantastic mostly, however today's the last straw I ordered 3 go large cobs and got the large cobs but with the standard filling of a regular cob so no point paying the extra to go large. I asked for well done bacon in each and which this definitely isn't and runny eggs which these arnt and they are all really greesy.. this order was 3 large cobs and an omlette so cost over £20 on uber eats.. overall not great to the point it has put me off reordering anytime soon.
We ordered a breakfast and salad cob to be delivered on Uber eats. On arrival the food was cold which is worrying considering they are only 10 minutes away! We opened the food to find that the cob was missing, after calling to enquire where it was we found that the lady had left it on the side. The conversation went like this.... Oh hi, I thought you would call as I saw your cob still on the side and I bet you haven't got anything for lunch now? Well there's nothing we can do so you'll have to call Uber and get a refund. To say I was angry doesn't even come close!! By time we have had the food delivered, found it missing and called the shop our dinner break is almost over so we couldn't do anything. The complete lack of empathy and sheer nonchalant attitude was very frustrating. If I could give zero stars I would, If the management ever read this I would fire that employee immediately. I'll definitely be mentioning this to people in the office that order food to be delivered as this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
Love this little cob shop. It's now our local, we go here for lunch most days after work. Consistently amazing food, well worth the price, great value for money. The staff there are lovely, always welcoming and smiling no matter what day it is or what the weather is like. Highly recommend. Best cob shop around
Food is fantastic. Staff are friendly and professional. Lots on offer to choose from.
Staff were busy but not very attentive to customers who walk thru the door. Had to wait quite a while to be served once served it didn't take long to get my cob which was OK for the price,but the bacon was a tad cold and hard.
Fast, very good quality meat , definitely be going again.
