Ordered chicken tikka biryani and dal tarka with lamb from Sanam Takeaway, Nottingham and everything was excellent. The biryani was flavourful and well-cooked, and the dal tarka with lamb was rich, comforting, and perfectly spiced. Portion sizes were generous, and they even included complimentary samosas and papadoms, which was a really nice touch. Food arrived hot and fresh, and the service was polite and welcoming. You can tell they care about their customers and food quality. Definitely one of the better takeaways in Nottingham — will be ordering again.

In my opinion Sanam is my absolute favourite in Nottingham and by far the best takeaway food in the region. Great portion sizes and value, extremely moorish food, unbelievably quick service via the online app. The set menus are the best value Ive ever seen and you can pick anything you like from the menu!!

We’ve been ordering from Sanam for over 15 years, which tells you all you need to know really. We have tried other Indian takeaways, but always revert to Sanam as nowhere else has ever measured up. Food is consistently good, delivered promptly and courteously, and also ticks the value for money box.

Amazing takeaway option! We ordered a meal for 4 and it easily severed 6 with left overs. Delicious food with lots of options. Bombay potatoes were a group favourite!! Great service from speedy delivery to ringing us up to confirm order and a smile on arrival. Thank you Sanam!!!

Over many years I have used Sanam and I had mixed thoughts on their food and service. Sometimes great and some rubbish. About 18 months ago I stopped using them due to poor food and even worse service. I decided to retry them over a year ago and was pleased to hear that it had changed management and chefs. Since then I have used them regularly . AK who takes my orders is fantastic ! He goes above and beyond with his service and if I do have any issues he addresses them immediately , often with a complimentary dish/drink and always respects my feedback. The chef is amazing and the food is always delivered fresh and piping hot! I ordered for 4 tonight and we were 4 very happy customers . Keep up the excellent work!

Was looking forward to our order as we have been ordering from here over the past few years but will not be ordering again. Ordered at 4pm with the estimated arrival time between 4.45 and 5.05pm. After calling at 5.05 I was told it was two minutes away and then was hung up on. I was told several times over the next fifteen minutes that it was ‘one or two minutes away’. Eventually, at 5.20, I was told to wait outside and that it was five minutes away, only to be waiting outside in the freezing cold for 20 minutes. Again, during this time when I called I was continuously told they were only a few minutes away. When the driver finally arrived at 5.40, he claimed to have left 12 minutes ago, meaning I was lied to about my order being on its way the whole time.

Amazing food! Saag Aloo Paneer is the best I’ve had since Bombay Bicycle Shop was open on Alfreton Road back in the 80’s

Absolutely disgusting service - ordered via Ubereats, the food never arrived, I tried calling and was told they didn't know if the food had been sent out or not and to just wait and see (?!). I then got a phonecall from the owner of the restaurant who screamed and swore at me down the phone that he was on the M1 (okay, why is that my fault?!) and that we were too far away to order from him. Our house is 4 miles away from the shop so well within their catchment area and given that they were provided as an option on Ubereats for our address that isn't really my fault?! I called the shop to find out how to get my money back and they guessed before I even started explaining that the owner had screamed at me so clearly this is a common occurance. Now I've got no food and no refund. Do not, repeat do not, ever order from this place.

This was by far an amazing Indian meal. Lamb bhuna was tender and lovely. The Reshmi Kebab, was soft, lightly spiced and tasty. Every flavour was tasted, so beautiful. Every note was followed so a great display of lovely tasty food, delivered promptly. Empty plates
