   Brilliant carvery and lovely staff. The meat was tender and melt-in-the-mouth, roasties were cooked to perfection, all the veg was lovely. Servings were incredibly generous. Wish I had more room in my stomach so I could eat more. All staff were friendly and talkative, quick service. The puddings were amazing as well. I had the chocolate brownie sundae, but couldn't help myself but take a piece of chocolate fudge cake to go and have later. Couldn't recommend this place more. So glad I found it.

   Amazing home made mulled wine! Had a carvery was very tasty, would have liked more gluten free options (stuffing etc) but it won't stop us going back.

   The nut roast was inedible, the rest of the veg was average. My partner did say the meat was good quality but we were pretty underwhelmed unfortunately. The restaurant is looking tired and dated so sadly we'll be giving it a miss from now on which is a shame because we had high hopes based on the other reviews.

   Upon arrival we didn't know you had to book a table on a Sunday, however we carried on n asked if they could squeeze us in, which they did, the staff were really friendly helpful. The food was top notch, the beef was heavenly, I will book next time. We will be back ❤️
