   We went to The Dock for a private/lathe booking to celebrate a family birthday. Everything was excellent from the service to the food. We chose from a set menu and everyone commented that their choice was really tasty and very well presented. Service was attentive, interested and welcoming. We’ve been before for brunch but this just confirmed that The Dock is great. Didn’t give 5 stars as it’s a bit out of the way and whilst easily accessible parking is limited to 3 hours so for our event this was a bit of an issue.

   Lovely place! We went for a breakfast and it did not dissapoint. Eggs and bacon benny was delightful, especially for my first one ever! Full English and classic pancake stack with bacon were good too. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff, beautiful views of the marina.

   We have had many nice meals here and today the Sunday lunch was tasty and of good quality. However, it was served to us luke warm, and two of us had to send it back to be reheated. The service was not as good as normal and definitely suffered after the manager left around 2.30 pm. Being asked if we, the 3 of us had decided how we were going to pay before the card machine was brought to the table was odd, to say the least. We will be back, it's a great restaurant but consistency is important.

   A wonderful place, with great food and great staff. It was full when we visited for a brunch today (Sunday) - I recommend booking ahead of time especially at weekend. You sit on a balcony looking into the harbourside. The staff are friendly, efficient and polite. The food is great. Today we had a "Dockers" breakfast and a vegetarian breakfast - both were very very good. I think you can tell when a chef cares about his/her food when your scrambled eggs are light, and creamy and fluffy. I feel lucky to be staying a ten minute walk from here.

   Greta place to dine and great atmosphere The restaurant is on the first floor and overlooks the harbour and quay. Some quirky architecture makes this place fun and spacious, large glass windows give good views of the yachts docked in the harbour. Food was lovely, served quite quickly and of good portions. Had burgers, carbonara (with chicken) and Milanese chicken. All really tasty meals. Good selection of desserts too. Service was good and staff were attentive. Would recommend a visit and eat here. Has its own parking so no need to pay parking elsewhere. Though one part of the car park says 3 hours and the other says permit only. The one car park has both and you can stay for up to 3 hours for free when dining at the restaurant

   Our greeting, after asking for a table for three, was "you're making life difficult for me". I would advise that if you can't manage a pleasant greeting then best not say anything and if you don't like dealing with the public take another career path. Had I not been in company I would have left. Our food order was taken by a friendly waitress and duly arrived. One of the eggs on my plate was cooked as I would expect, but the other was overcooked with a hard yolk, although obviously still edible. This must be one of the skills chefs are taught, how to cook eggs differently in the same pan. Either that, or one was cooked previously... Although, in fairness, I wasn't asked how I would like the eggs cooked and perhaps they serve one of each to be on the safe side. Other than that, pretty standard fare. We were asked if we would like another drink and asked for two teas and a flat white coffee, we received one tea and two lattes. I've used the Dock on several occasions in the past without issue, hence our return visit today. After today's experience though, particularly the reception, I'll not be back.

   Went here for a business lunch. Staff very welcoming and friendly. I had a salad which was large and filling my colleague fish and chips which looked lovely. Had a seat next to the front window which was stunning. No issues at all and really good quality. Will certainly return it back in Plymouth

   Brilliant service from Olivia, and not only was the food amazing but there was so many vegetarian options for my partner as well as incredible fish and meat options for myself. Even though it was raining the view of the harbour was still lovely.

   Great food in a great setting. The cappuccinos are the creamiest I’ve ever had, the brunch generous and perfectly cooked. I have visited this place several times and the quality has been consistent each time. On my last visit, a friend asked if it would be possible to have fried bread instead of mushrooms and was told that this would be fine. The fried bread came out absolutely perfect, dark gold, fairly crispy but neither too dry, nor too oily. I thought that this was pretty impressive considering also that this was not on the menu. We didn’t need the desert, but did it anyway and, along with another drink, that was all we could manage. We spent a while walking around looking at the multi million pound Princess yachts in the harbour to walk off our excesses. Would recommend this place, particularly for eating outside on a nice day. It’s tucked away and you wouldn’t expect it to be there, but once you’re in, it’s like another world. Very nice.
