   We recently visited Mamas & Papas to choose a pushchair and were helped by Sue, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we walked in, Sue made us feel welcomed and supported. She took the time to understand exactly what we needed, our lifestyle, and what would work best for us long-term. Sue was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. She explained the features of different pushchairs in a clear and friendly way — nothing felt rushed or pressured. She demonstrated how to fold and unfold the models, how they handle on different surfaces, and even gave helpful advice on accessories and future stages as our baby grows. We left not only with the perfect pushchair, but also with confidence in how to use it properly. What stood out most was how genuine and caring Sue was. She really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with our decision and understood everything. It made the whole process enjoyable and stress-free.    We collected a Joie Serina 2-in-1 swing and set it up at home to test. When dismantling it, it took two people almost ten minutes to pull apart. We returned it and staff agreed it was faulty. The manager even commented she didn’t know how it passed quality control. We ordered a replacement in a different colour (as the original was out of stock). On opening the box, it had an awful smell and had the same issue with the base not connecting properly. This meant another 40 minute trip back to Mamas & Papas. The manager suggested we look at a different model instead. While browsing, we noticed the first faulty swing was being resold as an “ex display” item with £10 added to the price we’d paid. A couple was about to buy it so we warned them of the issue and they chose not to purchase. After that the manager’s attitude changed completely. Once we picked another swing, she refused to price match, saying the £30 difference was too much and claimed the items weren’t faulty just “not meant to be dismantled.” We received no apology and were made to feel at fault. Due to the poor service and manager’s attitude, we decided to cancel our full order (including the travel system) and will not be shopping at Mamas & Papas again.

   Absolutely wonderful store to visit. The store is laid out beautifully, really felt at ease in the surroundings. We had booked an appointment with the team and had the fortune of having Sue. She was exceptional, she put us at ease, didn't over complicate anything, gave us some honest and practical advice and was patient with us. It was a privilege to be assisted by her. Her experience and knowledge was really helpful. You can tell the team take pride in the store, it's a great place to visit as expectant parents.

   Booked a personal shopping experience, myself, partner and nan went. We had the absolute pleasure of being shown around by Deb. She was so helpful and such a lovely woman! A credit to the store! There wasn’t anything she couldn’t help us with and nothing was too much hassle, any questions we had we’re quickly answered and demonstrations were shown.    Absolutely fab experience from staff, as I've come to expect in a Mamas and Papas. We were looking st pushchairs and car seats, and we were able to try the csr seats at our leasure on the sample seat to try the fastenings. One of the staff then helped us try our the pushchairs, let us fold them up and drive them round the store to get a feel, and also try the size out in our boot. It was such a great experience. Thank you so much.
