Not often I give a five for any reviews I do, but we've had some lovely meals here...from breakfasts to roast dinners. Small plates a must for me. The seabass I had today with boiled potatoes and peas was delicious, crispy skin too! It might not look like a posh place, but the food and service are something else. We'll keep returning.

I LOVE this place. Its cosy with interesting decor. Staff are lovely and treat you with respect. I eat here fairly often as my cooking skills are terrible. I've eaten a variety of dishes here from breakfasts to items from the main board. I give credit where credit is due and this little team of staff keep this place well. I usually always see familiar faces and I love the food. The staff are polite and you are always made to feel welcome. Great cafe and great prices. Big thumbs up.

Eaten here many a time while working in Plymouth. Excellent food and great prices. Highly recommended. Mixed grill my go to favourite.

The food was delicious, portions were incredible for the price. The atmosphere was really nice and the decorations were beautiful. The service was exactly as you would expect, fast and really kind. No complaints here!

I enjoyed a breakfast recently and wanted to try a Sunday roast. I was not disappointed. It was great to have a small roast option and vegetarian. I could taste the mustard in the cauliflower cheese, the carrots were tasty and cooked how I like them. I was offered a vegan or standard gravy. I scoffed the lot and will make sure I have enough time to enjoy one of the tasty sounding puddings on the menu. I was a walk in at 3.30pm which was probably the latest time they would take food orders as they close at 5. It was clean, the service was friendly and I will definitely go back.

My colleagues and I all love this place and come down for lunch quite often. Food is hearty and I appreciate the vegetables. Really a square meal that will make you happy and see you through the day. Plus can take large portion, or a small portion, so you won’t go hungry. The price is right and all together keeps us coming back.

I was staying in b&b down the road. I called in at 6 pm one night. What a gem. I work away from home so it’s hard to get a proper home cooked meal, at a reasonable price. I had slow cooked steak in read wine gravy. Absolutely delightful. We’ll done ladies.
