   I contacted the restaurant in advance to request vegetarian options and alcohol-free dishes. Despite the very short notice, they accommodated my request seamlessly. The atmosphere and ambience were exceptional—perfect for a romantic dinner. They went the extra mile by printing a personalised menu for us and serving each course in the exact order presented, creating a truly immersive and enjoyable three-hour dining experience. The food exceeded all expectations, and the level of service was outstanding—attentive, refined, and genuinely warm. This was a luxurious culinary experience in every sense. They deserve far more than a single Michelin star. An exceptional experience that I will most certainly repeat.

   Wow, this is maybe one of the best places I've ever eaten. Treated my brother to a fine dining night out and was not disappointed. From the moment of arrival to leaving feeling full and sleepy it was just perfect. Staff were 10/10 for making you feel welcome and being attentive, but they also left you in peace whilst eating and chatting which is a fine balance to get right. Food was really at the pinnacle of what you could image eating, and the wine pairing was also spot on. Would be lovely to be able to afford eating here on a monthly basis.

   This was my husband’s birthday present. It was a 2 hour drive over and was worth every minute! 4.5 hours, 12 courses and 7 wines. Could not fault a single mouthful. Drinks on the terrace to start was a lovely touch. Dan has done an excellent job pairing the wines, I don’t usually like dessert wines but the last two were particularly beautiful. Fantastic atmosphere. Alex was really friendly and chatty and even brought us extra snacks because they were just so good! The mushroom dish was a stunning stand out in a delicious tasting menu. We’ve been to quite a few Michelin star restaurants and this was easily our favourite. Will definitely come again.

   We enjoyed a 7 course taster menu with wine pairings. One word would be spectacular. An intimate environment, attentive service and the food was interesting and perfectly executed. It challenges your pallet in a positive way. As said earlier, spectacular.

   It's not everyday you celebrate your ten year anniversary, so wanting to do something special, I booked the award winning Alchemilla restaurant in Nottingham. Due to an URGENT last minute change, they were able to kindly move our booking by a few days, despite being against their policy. We arrived early for roof top drinks, which is like a little slice of privacy on a usually busy street. We went for 7 courses as we'd done 10 previously, and it's simply food on another level. Each bite is carefully created to give you an amazing mix of flavours, textures and is quite simply, an experience. For what can only be described as perfection, visit Alchemilla in Nottingham.

   A fabulous culinary treat. Choice of 7 or 10 course tasting menu which was very well thought through. Strong emphasise on reducing waste but not losing the focus on flavour. Staff were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Great drinks menu with some really unique options and it was brilliant to have a range of interesting and unique non-alcoholic options too. A fabulously relaxed evening. Definitely worth a visit.

   An amazing restaurant from every aspect. The friendly service from entering, drinks in the garden and in the restaurant. The experience is so worth a visit and we will definitely be visiting again! Amazing food in an amazing setting. Its lovely to see Alex on the pass when you enter and leave. The care from him and his staff to make your evening perfect is clear to see. Thank you!
