Great place to swim all year round but especially winter. Warm changing facilities with space heater belting out heat. Staff are lovely, knowledgeable, friendly and experienced with safety. Sauna is fantastic too.

We had a great time today. It was the first time either myself or my son had tried paddleboarding, so we had a lesson with one of the instructors, Cam. He was great. He explained everything clearly and was very pleasant, knowledgeable and patient. We both managed to stand up on our boards. It was busy, which was to be expected on a warm, summer holiday Sunday, but all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. I am sure we will be back!

Lovely facilities, friendly staff. Perfect place for a relaxing swim. There's an inflatable water activity for children. A good range of snacks including bacon sarnies, toasties, chocolate bars, cakes, and drinks are on offer but be aware that they don't accept cash, only cards!

Fantastic open water swimming and water sports facility. Visitors can stand up paddle board, swim the 750m lap of the lake, or there’s a brilliant and huge inflatable obstacle course ideal for kids. The water was warm in summer (23 degrees C) and felt clean and fresh. Wet suits can be hired if wanted though. There’s a great coffee / snack / food bar. Plenty of seating. A big and free car park. Decent changing facilities etc etc Would thoroughly recommend.

I absolutely love coming here! I started swiming here with open minds active through social prescribing and I’ve never stopped! It’s my fave place to come! Amazing staff! Amazing cake! Amazing coffee! And absolutely bliss even in the cold! It’s a beautiful place to be! So glad I found this gem!

Great find, we used the aqua park. The site looks like a huge investment clean, tidy and a work in progress. You can hire wet suits but not required to use the aquapark. Or wear your own. Helpful friendly staff. Spectators can view from near the park so great photo opportunity. The only suggestion I would make and I'm sure it's all planned are better changing and shower facilities, what is there is clean and usable, but no privacy, or family rooms. But a real safe environment to explore the water.

What a great place. It feels like they are investing heavily in improvements and on a warm day it's a great place to spend a couple of hours. We brought our own sups but hire prices are reasonable. The aqua park looks like a lot of fun. I'll have to take my kids soon but unfortunately didn't get to try it on this visit. There isn't anywhere on site for food but they do sell some cold drinks and confectionery.

The aqua park (inflatables) was so much fun, even for me as a 40 something year old! The staff were all lovely and friendly too! The site is still being redeveloped so the facilities are basic but that didn't stop the fun and we are looking forward to seeing how it changes each time we go back! Fully recommended!!

What a great session my wife and I had as our first ever SUP session. I bought my wife a SUP as a present as she has always fancied to give it a go and this was our first ever try. The facilities are already really good and when the current redevelopment work is finished this will be a great place. I hired a SUP board, buoyancy aids were provided and we got help with inflating my wife’s board and lots of hints and tips. The staff were truly amazing. Super helpful, kind, encouraging and attentive. They were simply excellent. Separate changing areas for male and female, toilets and a really nice, sheltered and not too deep lake. It really was a brilliant 2 hours and we will be back. Thanks for helping have our first ever SUP experience!

What a brilliant day out with my teenage boys. They loved the water assault course, and then paddle boarding on the lake. The team are friendly and professional, and clearly safety is of prime importance. An all round fantastic day out - thank you, West Country Water Park, we will be back!
